Focused wave or acoustic/radial wave?

One of the newer treatments for ED, Shock Wave Therapy is still in it's experimental stages. While the treatment often sounds promising, it is only effective for a few patients and the results are not permanent. Informed Consumers are the best patients!

Focused wave or acoustic/radial wave?

Postby returntocenter » Mon Jul 24, 2023 11:25 am

I'm starting shockwave therapy, and the clinic I go to offers both focused and radial/acoustic waves.

Based on some studies I've read, focused waves are what is traditionally used for ED, but the technician there has said radial is supposed to work on the superficial areas of the penis. He usually applies both kinds of waves to the penis in a session. Radial waves also hurt somewhat though, and I'm worried about damaging my penis. What do you guys think, should I just do focused wave, or both focused and radial wave?
