I noticed right since surgery my AMS LGX deflation button is always facing towards the back. As in the raised bubble type button is always facing the direction of my buttocks. However, deflation has been without issues. Inflation ..is still a bit of a struggle.
On the AMS inflation/deflation videos I noticed they showed the deflation button forward facing.
I am thinking if my tubings are twisted somehow and that maybe why max inflation is proving to be a challenge.
Thoughts?

Mine has a lot of tubing length and sets on the bottom of my large scrotum. It has made a thick rough section of my scrotum where it set when I drive and it bounces. And it will turn around some times. I just turn it back to face the front. Should be a lot easier in one direction than the other,
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

I had to go see where mine faces. Mine is up just under the base of my penis on a 45 degree angle. My release button faces left and down.Tubing is going up and to the left. I release it using the index finger on my left hand while holding the bulb with my right hand. It all becomes second nature after 5 years.Hope the helps.

Do not worry. As long as you can depress the deflate button, all is good. As far as inflating is concerned, the orientation of the valve body is pretty much irrelevant as long as you can put pressure on the pump bulb with one hand and steady the valve body with the other. Your hands will adapt to whatever position the apparatus is. Now, if the pump bulb were ABOVE the valve body, that might be a challenge, but human hands are pretty flexible. You just have to figure out what positioning to use.
I could only inflate with two hands for a while, but eventually, I figured out a way to get full inflation with only one hand.

Re: AMS LGX deflation button facing back..reason to be worried?
With my Titan pump, I always deflate by pressing both the button and the side opposite. That's how I get the leverage to push the button in. So I'm not sure that it would make any difference whether the button pointed in or out. The one thing is that I use my second finger on the button side and my thumb on the opposite side. I don't know whether finger is better than thumb for getting pressure on the button. Also don't know how similar AMS is in this regard.
Hmm. I just checked, and sure enough my button is on the side towards my butt rather than the side towards my front. I do it by feel, and I hadn't even thought about which side it was. Funny.

AMS video recommends a back finger support behind the deflation block so you are doing it right.
