RTE....Rear Tip Extender....right?

What is an RTE and what is it for? What's its purpose/function?
Prostate Cancer/Radiation 2011
Pills ineffective
Venous leak diagnosed January of 2024
70-75% hard with EDEX (alprostidil)....considered trimix
Implanted by Dr. Hakky 3/18/25 AMS CX with Tenacio Pump
Floppy glans but still useful 5.75"L 5"G

yes, that's right.

Since the cylinders are specific lengths and the tubes coming out of them fall at a specific location, adding RTEs can move the tube intersection to a location that would provide a better outcome than you'd get by upsizing the cylinder size. Crus depth and scrotum location are not the same in all anatomy.

Think if them as a means by which to make a subtle adjustment to a fixed tube location.
2/22/23 AMS 700 CX 21cm + 1.5cm RTEs. was 58 yrs old, wife of 37 yrs. Penoscrotal. 100ml Conceal reservoir. Dr. Clavell. Pills failing and went right to implant. 2+ yrs post op: 7 3/4" x 5 7/8", now 60yrs old in 2025
