How bad is this?

This is for the guys who experience an onset of curving or bending of their penis. PD is a frustrating condition which often creates significant emotional and mental distress. It overlaps several other sexual function conditions.

How bad is this?

Postby ceekay87 » Thu Dec 28, 2023 9:33 pm

I’m seeing Dr Hakky in a few weeks to consult for a possible implant. One of my issues is that my local urologist says I have peyronies. I took a pic of my member in a VED because I can’t seem to hold an erection long enough to take a picture. In your opinion how bad is this peyronies? I’m thinking of getting the AMS CX. Might that fix this or should I get the Titan . I prefer the AMS. I welcome your honest feedback.

Your curvature looks to be about ~30-35 degrees. That's about where I currently am after a couple years of treatment. I initially started out ~47 degree to the right and couldn't have intercouse without pain...now I can, but still have some residual pain at times. To answer your question, you have to ask yourself if it is affecting your life and to what degree. I have seen extreme cases of peyronies. One patient my doctor treated had a curvature over 115 degrees and his penis fully curved up and back... pointing at his belly button. I would consider that bad. My case, not so bad by medical standards...but it was affecting my sex life, especially bending to the right. I will say if I was bent up or down, I probably wouldn't have treated it because sex would have been manageable and likely quite pleasureable for my wife. I know the xiflex treatments requires a minimum bend of 30 degrees to be eligible for treatment...so I would say anything in excess of that is worth looking into treatment, especially with a curve to the side.

From your photo, I can't tell the degree of the curve. And the length is a bit deceiving.
First, any significant curve of 30 degrees or more won't show because of the tube.
Second, the VED penis length is going to be longer than your natural erection.

Most urologists often don't suggest treatment of a curve less than 30 degrees.

You mentioned a lack of erection. Do you suffer from ED?
Guys with PD and ED can still utilize viagra/cialis and Trimix injections.

If you have PD and ED. both can be fixed with an implant.
You need to discuss this with the surgeon you are consulting with.

In any case the number one recommendation in discussing Implants is to seek a high-volume implanter.

Based on the photo it looks mild to me. I am now at about 30 degrees upward. Some women seem to like this as I hit the roof of the vagina during Mish. However it tends to make Doggie more painful for the woman. I do not enjoy the curve at all as it exaggerates the shortening I’ve already experienced from the PD and tends to cause my penis to get expelled from tight vaginas if I lose even a tiny bit of firmness and the woman nears a strong orgasm. I’ve decided against the implant for now in lieu of injections. If I had a more demanding sexual partner(s) I would definitely get an implant. Im continually tracking my cure and length and keeping records.

In my case, the penis bends a bit to the left but it's not painful.

If, however, the penis is fully erect, at max force, it doesn't bend.

So, I'm guessing this curvature of mine is perfectly normal: maybe that's how the Corpora Cavernosa fill with blood? One side a bit faster than the other?

I have no idea, just asking.

It doesn't sound like Peyronies (PD).

However, if you are concerned see a qualified urologist who specializes in men's sexual health. Someone who treats and can accurately identify PD. Unless he/she can identify plaque (scar tissue), they can not diagnose you with Peyronies.
I would note most GP and even general urologists won't do much for you. You need to see a urologist who treats PD.

That doesn’t look too bad to me. My upward curve has pluses and minuses. On the plus side I have found that it can induce female orgasms in some women that are orgasm-resistant. Bear in mind my same size is fairly small. I think it is the upward curve rubbing on the ventral side of the vagina (g spot). I’ve make 3 or 4 massage parlor providers cum really hard since I developed my curve. This almost never happened before my PD. On the negative side the curve and shortening causes my unit to get expelled from a tight vagina if I lose even a small bit of firmness. Also with my 30-40 degree curve Doggie is virtually impossible. Good luck and try to make the best out of your new shape.

Agreed with the previous comment! I see where you're coming from. Having an upward curve definitely has its pros and cons. One positive aspect for me is that it seems to enhance pleasure for some women who struggle to reach orgasm. Since developing this curve, I've left my partner in awe.

However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. The curve can sometimes work against me, especially during those moments when a tight grip loosens even slightly. But hey, life's about making the most of what you've got, right? Best of luck navigating your own journey with your newfound shape!
