First trimix injection, thoughts?

Hi guys happy to have found this forum! Yesterday I did my first injection with the urologist and wanted to get your perspectives.

Being the first injection at the Dr's office we did 0.5 (5 units) of trimix (10/12/1) everything went smoothly and the medication started to kick in around the 10 minute mark. I left the office and my dick got a little bit harder I'd say 60% erection and proceeded to stay at about 60% for nearly 4 hours. Would this be considered priapism? It went down and I feel fine today but he had mentioned I'm ok to go to 10 units for actual sex. Again it was never 100% hard but the effects did last a long time. It did feel good though but I'm afraid 10 units might be really profound.

For the record I have mild ed and I think it's mostly psychological so my plumbing works fine for the most part I'd just find I couldn't get 100% hard with pills and I'd start to lose my erection as sex went on.

Wanted to get your guys thoughts, was what I experienced normal? Apart from my 60% erection lasting for nearly 4 hours I did enjoy the feeling but I don't want to find myself in the ER. I'm planning on getting some Sudafed but I'd appreciate any additional input you might have. Thank you!

What you experienced is very normal with trimix. That 4 hour is a scare tactic I think. I’ve been using trimix for over two years now and have had plenty of 4 to 5 hour erections. No they were not rock hard the entire time and there was no pain. For me after orgasm (if i can achieve one, trimix gives me anorgasmia) the erection will subside but comes back on and off for hours and towards the end I will have it be like 50-60% hard. I am not a doctor and we are all different but that scare of 4 hours really made the sex not really enjoyable for that fear. Sudafed and a small bout of calisthenics work very well at bringing an erection down. And I have bad knees so, its not like I’m having to do crossfit to get it down. Lol. Take it for what it’s worth and enjoy it.

Welcome to the fraternity! I am on the same mix 10/12/1. That is considered mild. Kaiser uses this formula. Like you, I am on it somewhat as a personal preference over pills and after a bit of an ongoing argument with Kaiser. I would not worry about a lingering semi. If it was 100 hard then I’d worry.

I am on 17.5 units which gives me decent rigity and no issues with a long term woody. I usually get a semi after coming for a few hours.

Not a doctor here either....but my priapism that had to be drained at the 5 hour mark was 100% full erection...but no pain. After doing some research, I'm not sure I shouldn't have waited a few more hours to have it drained, but I'd also say that if it was only 60%, I wouldn't have gone to the ER at all.

I guess I'm just concerned of the duration on such a low does. 5 units 0.05ml again I wasn't 100% hard but I imagine a dose (10 units) will make it 100% hard and still last 4 hours? Is Sudafed the answer? I'd prefer to be hard for maybe 2 hours or less. 3 tops. I want to be prepared for next time. Doctor gave me the green light for 10 units but I'm just new to this.

When my doc gave me the first injection in the office he wanted to start with 30 units but that sounded like a lot to me so thank god i wad able to talk him down to 15 and that was way too much but even then the erection was close to 5 hours long. I did 10 the next time and that one lasted 4 hours. 5 is what gave me 3-4 hours so dont be alarmed at the small dose. I have been using 5 units of whats in my signature and after 280 injections its only lately that I have had to go up to 8 units and I think it’s because the vial i have been using is almost 2 years old. In all that time, I have found that trimix is inconsistent because sometimes it will last 4 hours and then sometimes the same amount will last 2 hours. Either way, the wife gets more orgasms than she can count and that’s what’s important to me. My pharmacy does not include the antidote. Like I stated before, 4 Sudafed and a small workout works the simplest for me when it lasts longer than I need.
