Thank You

Postby Courage » Thu Jun 06, 2024 5:22 pm

I finally talked to one of the surgeons suggested and a Doppler identified the problem as "corporo-venous occlusive ED," which is a long way of saying blood isn't getting there. The proposed treatment is an implant. I'm trying to get in with at least one other doctor to confirm and feel I did due diligence and am making an informed choice.

It's a relief to have the issue identified and a path forward. The surgery and risk of losing what function I do have scare me, but I think it's probably something I need to do. I already feel cheated of a chunk of life by being unable to perform.

It is good to have this resource available. Particular thanks to philly444 for his communication.
50 with lifelong ED. Doppler showed absence of major artery in left corpora ("I haven't seen that before" -- Doctor).

It is a tough decision to make. The result should be life changing. Lots of good info here to see other guy's experiences.

Do your research lots of it both on brands and types of implants and most importantly a dr to use. You only have one didck chose wisely know someone who had a revision, dr did such a shit job that dr. carrion who is one of the best surgeons around could do nothing for him.
