I surely mean no disrespect to any posters. I have a lot of downtime in airports and I have read the entire FrankTalk website a number of times.
It amazes me the number of complaints about implants. In my opinion an implant is a personal choice and should occur when nothing else works. In my case I would have gotten my implant years ago because it rocks, I have read many posts where the implantee went to an unknown surgeon and had a bad result, the rule of implants should be location, location and location. I got my implant about 2 years ago and it was a great life changing event. I would have done it 10 years earlier had I known how great it was. There are a lot of posts about problems with feeling or size which I dismiss as nonsense. I think while it is a personal choice, the risks vs rewards for a successful implant are very slanted towards great if one picks a great doctor. I got my implant about 2 years ago and the recovery took about 2 months. no pain no gain. I was about 8 inches erect in high school, I was able to talk to high school girl friend on line and that’s what she said, who knows. After 10 years of ed and issues, my stretched length was about 5.5 and I was miserable in life. I got my implant 22 +1 titan and post-surgery 6 weeks I was about 6 inch flaccid and 7 erect. Frequent cycling left it 6 in flaccid and fully pumped 7 inch.
I discovered after a while that if I pumped up to what I thought was max and waited a few minutes I could pump more and then more after another 5 minutes. I could pump to 7.5 over time. My wife said at that point that it was too hard and felt like a stick, I told her that if she sucked on it would become softer. Despite a large amount of sucking, it failed to get any softer. Oh well testing was great. Then I had the problem of trying to hide my dick which was 7 inch flaccid and 7.5 erect. I tried the straight up but my dick was protruding from my shirt. I found that tucking it to the left down with tight underwear was the best solution. This was only partiality successful as my wife frequently told me woman were staring at my dick. (now that is a problem lol). So, to all of the users that complain about their implant or whine about the problem of concealing it I say get a life (surely no disrespect intended). I have found that keeping about 5-8 pumps in my titan removes the uncomfortable feelings and my dick will still bend to fit in my pants. I soaked a lot in my private hot tub which seemed to helped soften it a lot.

Preach my brother ! I shared the same sentiment in several posts I responded to . The whiners get old. I'm not talking about the brothers that's took the leap and , either through bad luck,a bad surgeon, or a defective device ... are really going through some shit. My heart breaks for them and I hope they get right and can start enjoying life again with a working implant. It's the guys constantly complaining and discouraging other men from considering getting an implant . Sharing pessimistic horror stories that are only unique to them . Stuff can happen, but everything can be fixed . The worst thing a man can do , is give up and let ED control their life..... especially when there are options with a 97% satisfaction rate .... LIKE IMPLANTS !

Re: To the naysayers and whiners no disrespect intended
When I decided to get the implant, I felt I had no other choice. ED, Veins leak, pills not working, trimix work sort of, The initial months after the operation were incredibly challenging and painful.
Daily pumping was uncomfortable, but gradually, the implant began to feel softer and more natural.
Recently, during a 21-day vacation with my girlfriend she's 50 yrs old, using the implant became a truly magical experience. I was transparent with her from the beginning about my decision for the implant, she just wanted to know if its safe and what does the penis look like after the implant, A penis i said.
Despite initial pain and some loss of length now I'm 5", in the fourth and sixth months still in some pain and trying to figure out the release valve ( which sticks sometimes) ( titan) , but by month 11, it has proven to be one of the best decisions of my life. And hers too. She can sit on top for 15-20 minutes without a worry of losing my erection, she says its like heaven, yea i can see it in her expressions and moaning.
I now enjoy the firmness and can satisfy her with vaginal orgasms. At 67, I had resigned myself to thinking that natural intimacy was a thing of the past, but this experience has shown me otherwise.
My advice to others considering this path is to be patient; things do get better over time. Looking back, I wish doctors had provided more detailed explanations about what to expect during the first year. Clear guidance would have brought more happiness, peace, and calm to the process.
I hope sharing my journey helps others facing "what should i do"

I agree with one thing ….. it’s the last resort, the nuclear option.
To date, I regret the implant.
I don’t tell other men not to get one. I tell them to exhaust all other options and leave no question unasked. Assume nothing.
The Coloplast Titan I have feels unnatural as hell and the dog ears were not explained to me until AFTER the implant was done. I had no idea that my dick would feel like it had a crumpled up soda bottle in it. When he said “natural”, I took him at his word. Wrong.

True...
Life is FULL of trade-offs.
Soft dick, no sex
Pills, stuffie nose-blue vision
Injections, ouch!-Plack build-up
Implant, AMS looks nice soft, no girth-Coloplast dog ears soft, great girth
Trade-offs
All we really want is a stiff dick! I, for one, don't care what it looks like soft. Unless you're an exhibitionist or devout nudist, your dick is tucked away in your tighty-whities.
5 years ago, I had a soft dick, NOT now.
Trade-offs

Thank you for that. I am day 13, stitches out tomorrow. 22cm Titan implanted by Dr. EID.
I don’t regret getting my implant, even though my dick was super well shaped and sized, but seldom worked well. Dr. EID confirmed a Venus leak… So now I will be patient, currently cycling 2x a day in hot bath.
I am shorter than I was, but love hearing that the cycling will increase my size. Pump still stiff, but I will keep at it.
Yes, plastic tube feeling, but that is completely flaccid. Won’t matter, I look forward to when I can get out and use it.
I will do the work, and I will accept that while it’s not my original, the Titan will allow me to have 100% better sex, anytime I want, with no trimix !!
Thanks again for encouragement.
No turning back. Bionic for life now !!

For the dog ears, can't you leave it a little inflated ?
Re: To the naysayers and whiners no disrespect intended
Don't take your dr. at his word for the most part you will be disappointed .. high volume implanters run their business like a business an assembly line of patients in and patients. The fact that the penises that these dr's are cutting on belong to real live men with feelings and emotions as well as partners in the journey with them. I'm disappointed in my whole journey so far as far as the care .. information given .. and compassion of my provider.
