Sensation/bloodlflow-loss over time?

Postby SwedishDave » Tue Jul 23, 2024 4:56 pm

I’ve seen some members mention that IPPs erode whats left of our natural tissues in the corporas over time. WP mentions that dr.Eid has confirmed this phenomenon aswell.

Anyone here who feels qualified to speak on this? If one still has corporal bloodflow after IPP, will the person keep this over time or do most people lose it eventually?

I still have it but the implant keeps it from rising to the occasion like it used to. Glands still swell nice but sounds like you know that a different blood flow.

I wake up with a 3/4 hard on, its like i forgot to deflate, but after 5-10 it goes back to normal. What little blood flow that could go in the shaft doesnt make a difference for me in girth or sensation when fully pumped. The thing the implant wont help with is the glands, no swelling in the glands would be a big bummer. From what i have read here the glands should be the same pre op vs post op, that was my experience.

I've definitely felt mine reducing significantly over time. It's true that immediately pre vs post op is the same, but after several years is when it started to reduce a lot for me

I'm 4 1/2 years implanted and haven't experienced any issue with blood flow. My glans will swell when I'm aroused. After sex as much as I deflate the implant, my shaft remains full for a while. I usually need a hot shower to get totally flaccid.

This is interesting. Is this exclusive to IPPs? What about malleables? Perhaps the loss of corporeal blood flow is due to other reasons, aside from the implant. Like, perhaps just the continuation of vascular issues (which is the primary cause of ED to begin with).

Also, I don't see how the implant could affect blood flow in the tunica, the tissue overlaying the corpora.

Wolfpacker, did you have inflow issues prior to being implanted?

Sorry you’re dealing with this wolf. I hope you get to have a good and fulfilling sexlife despite these issues and that your revision might fix a thing or two for you.

Few months I had an incident where I manipulated my penis, doctors ruled out penile fracture after imaging process. I don't have good erections since then, it feels like there is no base to my penis. I'm considering an implant.

I had major blood flow issues prior to implant. If using cialis daily I would occasionally get a bit of a woody in the morning prior to implant. Now over two years after implant I still get a bit of a plumped up feeling in the morning on rare occasions. I still use cialis ever few days and I get pretty good engorgement in shaft and glans when excited. So I guess it’s about the same after two years. Time will tell.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!
