So I am scheduled to have implant surgery on Sept 3. Yes I asked questions so did my wife. I just still have an overwhelming fear of not knowing what i am in store for. Would someone please share with me what I might expect? I did not ask specifics about what type of implant other then I know it will be a 3 piece unit. On one hand I am looking forward to being able to have a intimate relationship with my wife again, just nervous I guess. Any information would be appreciated.

I just had mine Implanted on 8/13/24 by Dr Eid and one thing for sure is recovery sucks lol. I watched as many videos on YouTube by Dr's Perito, Clavell and Eid and browsing through the stories here answered everything for me. Make sure to ice, ice baby and the hot baths when your given the ok are very soothing. Good luck brother.

Hsteacher44 you need to run ....not walk back to your dr. and get a lot more information on what type ..brand ..warranty ...how many of that brand he has implanted ..and do you have a choice of brands .. you only have one dick and trust me this is coming from someone who has been sliced and diced 3 times in 12 months. The information is out there you have to look for it. Where you told you will have to cycle it up to a yr or more as part of the healing process? ... Did he mention a mallabble which I have feel free to ask me anything about it. Others who have an inflatable need to chip in and give information and advice.

hsteacher, we all went through that apprehension phase, is this Bionic Dick gonna really work?
Yes, it takes some time to heal up, start your cycling of the implant and then waiting for the doc to give you the green light for sex.
But once you come out on the other side you'll be glad you did it.
I was given the green light at 6 weeks but waited till week 8 and it still hurt when we had sex and it was still numb and didn't have a lot of sensitivity but it gets better every week. Once I got past 5 months it felt just like my old dick.
Sex is great now, I'm 33 months out. My wife likes for me to pump it up as hard as I can get it and just fill her up and grind on her until she cums.
It's just great :!:

Good Luck hsteacher :!:

As you see below, I got myself an AMS CX700. Sounds like a fancy sports car, doesn't it? I am now 2 1/2 months post-op and finally reached climax again. One yesterday and one today, and surprisingly the second one was more spectacular than the first, even after "celibacy" for 2 1/2 months! That being said, I am still just in the beginning stages of recovery. It was too sore until recently to handle it, and it took 2 hours (not all intense) each time. But I am on the road and the map says a superhighway is not too far away. I'm going to enjoy the ride ...

Yes, you should really get more information on what is being put inside you. The exact size of the tubes, etc., can't be decided until you are in the OR and knocked out; doctor and possibly mfg rep will make that decision once you are opened up and they can see more clearly.

Afterward, you will be in pain, and ice and a recliner will be your best friends. I hope you plan to take 2 weeks off; you should be somewhat back to normal by then. But listen to your doctor and don't touch it until he gives you the green light. Ask LOTS of questions. I was just in for help from my doc last week and still had questions.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

It’s a process for sure! First few weeks are rough. I had sex at the end of week 3 and it was very uncomfortable and very sore afterwards. By 2-3 months it was maybe a little uncomfortable during and maybe a little sore for 1/2 day afterwards. By 4-6 months it really starts to feel normal….. almost natural. By 8-10 months it’s amazing and you’re getting totally used to it and it’s just part of your body at this point. You’ll read a LOT about how do I hide the shower…. This thing is big when flaccid….. and a thousand other comments about how it’s a shower and it don’t get small anymore. I’ve stated a dozen times it’s a matter of perspective. You now have a full size shower. It takes time to adjust to this. Every person that sees your shower thru your pants is not going to think you are walking around with a hard on! By a year you rarely even think about it. Other than admiring it when you’re naked!! lol. It’s a journey not a race. After 10-11 years of pills and 16 months of shots I was at my wits end and it was a welcome issue to have a big dick most of the time and one that I could make hard as a rock any time I want it to be. Read on here and find the journals of dozens of people who tell exactly how it was. Good luck and hang in there… it’s up to you if you want to hang limp or hang proud!!! lol.

Don't let my experience put you off of it. I've had 2 surgeries, 3rd upcoming soon. First one of the cylinders had a leak pretty much right after surgery ( went unnoticed for a week due to swelling ) my second one feels like the tubing between the pump and reservoir came apart - won't know that until 3rd surgery. Recovery for some can be rough, for me both times were not bad, only real issue was the swelling in my scrotum ( normally about golf ball size but swole up about softball size ) which when it's that big make those trips to the restroom a bit of a challenge.
Just take it easy, do what the Dr says, get advice from us here, and don't be shy. Ask whatever questions you need to, most of us have no problems helping you out with answers. Just be mindful that everyone is different, heals differently, and has a different experience than most others. But we're here to help you out, you won't regret your decision, most regret waiting so long to get it done.
AMS 700 CX 21cm x 12mm with 1.5cm RTE, MS pump, and Conceal Reservoir. Implanted on 4-12-2023 removed and replaced 6-22-23 with the same, 1st implant surgery had pinhole leak in left cylinder, second failure tubing at connector
