hormone therapy now implant pls help

I am having a consult in 2 weeks for an implant but I asked my oncologist last week if having had hormone therapy 2 years ago would interfere with it's success and he said he did not know.
My question is this:has anyone one of you that has an implant had hormone injections prior.I really want to proceed-have tried everything,pills,manual pumps,injections and to no avail.I am a young 66 year old and this is my worst nightmare.
