Hello All
thanks all for this amazing forum.
i had my second trail today. tried 10 units instead of 5 earlier when i had partial erection which was rated 5 out of 10 lasted 40 min. here is my mix 45mcg alprosdadil, 30 mg papverine plus phentolamine 2mg/ml (2ml vial)
i got a good erection this time lasted 1 hour 40 minutes. the doctor rated that as 9.5.
i did some squats in the clinic and it came down fast. i also noticed that i got more hard when i tried a cock ring during this erection
my questions are:
1) how to determine what is the right dose for me? the doctor feels that erection was good but i am still paranoid and i feel that it was still 7. it could be that i am generally anxious and i have self esteem issues so may be the doctor is right. however is it safe to assume that once i get 70% to 75% automatic erection then some form of arousal and intimacy in sex will do the rest in the right setting? apologies if this is too stupid to ask
2) right now i am on 10 units but if i decide to increase this then will this increase likely to result in more duration or improved erection quality?
3) based on my mix which of the three ingredients play substantial role in holding and making the erection rigid? is that alprosdadil?
thanks
please advise.

Re: Trimix second trail results
A1) Nothing's too stupid to ask here. We all started fixing our ED at one time and had uncertainties. I think the doc is right about 9.5, but going to 11 units is probably ok. I do find that imagining what my wife is going to feel like inside gets me stiffer as I approach her opening. (Be sure to lubricate her and your penis when at this point.)
A2) Higher quantity gives me more stiffness and longer duration.
A3) "bldoink" can answer here better than me. Hopefully he will chime in.

Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

I'll try.
In the past when trying to suggest directions for searching for answers to this and related questions I would point men to a PDF pamphlet produced by Wedgewood Pharmacy and hosted on their site as I have NO medical expertise and NO medical training. A couple of years ago they decided to focus on veterinary medecine and quit compounding for human use. IMHO it was a very informative PDF. Well, they recently revamped their website and removed the PDF and probably anything else that wasn't consistant with their current business profile. Fortunately I saved a copy. Hopefully they will give me permisson to host it somewhere else.
Again, I have no medical expertise and no medical training of any kind. What, in my ignorance I take from the aforementioned PDF, is that to increase duration increase the dose or add more Papaverine HCL to the mix. To increase firmness increase the dose or add more PGE1 (Alprostadil) to the mix. To increase firmness and duration increase the dose or add more PGE1 and Papaverine HCL to the mix.
Good luck

Experimentation is key..... but also acceptance of the fact that everyone is different and just because you do something... the result may not be so cut & dry. You need to get creative!
I am working with a cock that doesn't work at all following RP, so no amount of stimulation (mental or physical) works. That means the injection is everything to get hard. I started injecting Alprostadil ONLY. This gave me an OK injection which actually caused quite a bit of pain (Unfortunately I am the 1 in 20 men for which this happens) I then switched to the TRi-Mix. My Urologist told me to start with 3 units and work my way up by experimenting until I was happy with the results. I have settled on 6 units to get me 90% hard which honestly, is better than before my RP. When I am kneeling in front of my wife, or standing on the floor at the side of the bed, gravity sends blood down into my cock and I get quite hard. Lying down on my back gets me a little softer and when I enter my wife, the pressure of her vaginal walls tends to push the blood out of my cock and I get softer too. Thankfully, pulling out and getting on top gets me hard again. The injection opens up the blood vessels, relaxes the corpus cavernosa of the penis and allows easier flow to get an erection. What the injection DOES NOT do, is close whatever mechanism holds the blood into the penis in order to maintain the erection. I have found that after injecting, a small cock ring placed at the base of my cock is enough to hold the blood in place. My injected erection lasts about 75-90 minutes. So after injecting we have foreplay, and then when we are ready to fuck, I take the ring that I've had on my finger and pull it on my cock. This keeps me hard enough for penetration and reaching orgasm.
NOTE:..... the Alprostidil that is in TRI-MIX still causes that annoying ACHE in my erect cock. My urologist had the pharmacy add some Lidocaine to the mix and this has helped A LOT!!!
Another thing to make note of..... I had stopped taking my daily low-dose of Cialis as I gave up on getting back a natural erection 2 years ago and was fed up with spending the money. I found that after stopping Cialis, my injected erections were not as good. Since the Cialis increases the blood flow to my penis, it seems to increase the efficiency of the injection......At least that's MY experience.
SO back to what I said in the beginning.... everyone is different! Experiment, try things.

I am going to go back to 2.5 daily also. Doc said 5 is good but it also causes muscle cramps.
Hoping 2.5 will be a good compromise now that have Trimix.
Cialis didn’t do anything for ED but did help circulation and less frequent bathroom breaks

The Wedgewood PDF that was very helpful is no longer online. Does anyone have that PDF and will to share it? I thought I saved it but I only saved the link which no longer works.

Yes, I was recently in contact with Pharmacy that created the PDF. They recently revamped their site to reflect their current business model, which is veterinary compounding. They gave me permission to host and share an edited version of the document elsewhere. I'm hoping Paul the site administrator here at Frank Talk will host the document and provide a new link so guys can view it. So yeah I do have a copy of both the original and edited versions but I'm not wild about sharing my email address mailing it out.

It says the file is too large.
If Paul ever notices my email it may become a non-issue.
