spine MRI with an implant

Postby ssbxfire » Sun Dec 01, 2024 8:18 pm

so....how good are spine MRI's you have with an implant.

I understand the malleable have some metal and can cause refraction. Any issues with the Titan or AMS and getting good pictures of the lower spine MRI's?

Yes, I know both are "conditionally" accepted and MRI safe, I'm interested in spine picture quality.

The newer MRI machines have to much power….my balls got hot and started vibrating so I had to find an older MRI

Your supposed to inform the mri operators and they can adjust the machine accordingly .. almost all implant are mri safe but some of the older ones they had to make adjustments to the machine.

I have had several MRI(s), Ct scans, xrays, and ultrasounds. The radiologist reading my MRI thought my pump reservoir was a cyst as did my ultrasound technician. My implant has had no issues with any of the aforementioned procedures.

Bring any document that shows the make / model of your IPP - the techs usually have a list that tells them what they can and cannot do with the scanners. I have an AMS and it / me have been scanned many times...

I just had X-rays done a week ago. I did tell the cutie tech that I had an implant. She didn’t bat an eye, and let me look at the screen when she was done. My implants appeared as two little white dots on the screen. I went away wondering if she thought I had testicle implants. LOL
