VED before surgery

Postby JohnHC » Fri Jan 24, 2025 2:24 pm

Dr Hakky and other Drs recommend using a VED 4 to 6 weeks before surgery to improve results ( length / girth ). I bought one to use that has 3 different vacuum strengths and have been using it once a day for 10 minutes as directed and plan to use it twice a day 10 minutes or so each time. Here's the issues and am hoping for some suggestions. All 3 strengths work very well, I let it go till it hurts pretty much then I'll press the pause button to hold pressure and as it eases off I'll restart till it hurts, etc for the full ten minutes. Is this right or am I supposed to just turn it on and let it run the full ten minutes without pausing it?
Also big issue is on the two higher strengths the suction is a bit strong in that if I press it to the base of my penis ( which I assume is correct to get maximum benefit ) it will try and sometimes succeed in pulling in one of the boys so to speak, which as you can imagine is not much fun. So is there a right way to maximize the benefit before surgery and is there a way to keep the boys safe while using it?

I guess if your size in the machine is what you want after surgery, it's all the pumping you want.
I wonder what failed in only a year this time. I don't trust couplings if used between the cylinders and pump.
You obviously have to have one between reservoir and pump.

I've also been using the VED Hakky recommends lately and it's a good choice. Cheap and effective: https://a.co/d/iYgxOOB

You're doing it right but you can do the pause better. If you press the power button twice you see it moves from body 1 to body 2. Pump up using whatever mode you want and stop when you're "comfortable." The pressure will slowly drop but after losing only ~5 kPa or so it pumps itself back up to where you paused it.

About it grabbing your balls, that will happen, and my best advice is use it laying down and while placing it use the other hand to tug them as far away as possible and put the pretty comfortable plastic base where there's the most shaft and least balls.

Play around with pressing power button twice and I think you'll get it. If my directions don't work I am not gonna test it now cause Hakky replaced my AMS with a Titan classic last week and it'd hurt way too much. :)

I have a similar one but no readout, it has 3 vacuum modes and then 7 suction modes where it pulls a certain vacuum releases then repumps. I don't use those as it doesn't seem to pull as good a vacuum. I'll have to see if it will restart and pull up to where I paused it. I only let it get to where it bleeds off just enough to not hurt any more then hit the restart, etc. I push it all the way the shaft and add pressure on it to help keep it from grabbing the boys because when it does that, it'll wake you up. I'll see if I can dig up it's instruction book and see what it says, I think it was very sparse and only outlined the buttons though.

I think your reply helped me realize the restart is an option if you want it, but if you'd prefer controlling the pressure yourself that is also an option. Another choice is doing it all entirely manually with this cheap and effective tool: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014Q ... UTF8&psc=1

I'm in a time of self-reflection realizing my entire knowledge of VEDs was that if you used them a lot and with a lot of force they might make your dick bigger. Some might worry it could break your implant or result in things like less-hard erections making you pay for replacements sooner than you want to. Does anyone care if I say it's not why I did? That's cause I could afford it so I pursued it. Should I lie and deny that looking back now I realized I probably fucked it up to some degree?

No one can prove newbie's argument wrong. Add more if I miss any, but it's essentially VEDs are good pre-implant and there's an entire pyramid of medical proof to it. They can solve or improve fibrosis before surgeries allowing men to get implant sizes that best meet their natural erections from their days as a horny 20-year-old. I believe the same proof applies to men of all ages who don't want an implant.

There's some evidence VEDs are good post-implants. I would assume they're better than doctors who never educate men about their existence. (Note: you could also abuse Viagra for the same result.) If you want to cycle 15 minutes a day because your doctor told you to, that is also entirely your decision.

Throughout this experience I think I'm happy men are learning VEDs can solve or improve fibrosis. After implant surgeries I think they are safe and effective, but using them obsessively for hours a day might not be. The right answer is probably somewhere in the middle.

I'm also happy that I have learned way more here on FrankTalk than I expected, while sad you all learned a lot less from me.
