Should I be concerned about over-pumping? (AMS 700 CX)

Postby twelvepillarscup » Wed Mar 05, 2025 8:27 pm

Someone mentioned that pumping when it's already full can cause the tubing to mess up? But I've also heard that you want to try to get as many pumps in as possible. So some people try to squeeze it really hard even though the pump is firm which indicates it's "full." Also - why does Perito say to do the Perito exercise but advise try to do one or two more pumps in after doing the exercise? Would appreciate any feedback!

My understanding is that you will never be able to squeeze the bulb hard enough to hurt anything, at the same time I know that when you pump and the cylinders are fully stretched and you may have another pump left nut then the pump goes flat than you are MAX full with what they gave you at surgery.
