Delayed orgasm

Please take this poll. If you never experienced difficulty in orgasming, simply skip. If you were unable at first to orgasm, take the poll. Thanks

Osprey_1, I was able to shortly after I started cycling, but it takes much longer than before. I'm 4+ months post-op now, and sensitivity has improved a little, but I'm anxious to see if that continues to improve thru the healing process. When I say sensitivity, I don't mean numbness. I'm referring to sexual sensitivity -- hope that makes sense.

It took a lot of work for the first 3 months or so ... I mean, I pounded for an hour or more.
It started getting better at about 3-6 months.

At about 8 or 9 months, I researched anitdepressant side effects, and lo and behold the damn Zoloft (even at very low dose) was causing it. Great cure for premature ejaculators! Now that I am off it, nearly back to normal, I am happy to report.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

My experience is quite similar to Chuck and I'm a few weeks behind him post op. It can take me a really long time to climax although It seems to be getting less the more I have sex. But I do have some numbness at the base of my shaft on the underside, which seems to be very slowly improving. I have explained further about that in the numbness poll.

I found that I have much more sexual sensitivity in my penis now than I did pre surgery. Having had severe ED for so long, I hadn’t felt the wonderful sensation that comes from having your penile tissue slide along a firm, erect shaft. I also think not having a black cloud of concern about whether I could maintain an erection gone helps me orgasm more readily. It’s fantastic to see your hard cock in your partner’s stroking hand, or in her mouth! That sure doesn’t hurt the orgasm process!

All that said, I have found that if I pump my penis to maximum inflation, my penis is slightly sore, and overly sensitive, making orgasm difficult. For the best orgasm, I only pump to about 75%. You’ve got to remember that after years of sub optimal erections, your penile tissues and nerves are not used to being stretched by a hard erection that comes from an implant. Give it time, it will get better as you continue to heal and adapt to the new you!
