I am 3 mos. post op implant

Postby Jeanluc3 » Sat Apr 20, 2013 12:09 pm

And, I have two types of auto injectors, two needle travel cases, and a bunch of unopened needles that I no longer have a use for. If anyone would like to have them let me know and I will box them-up and send them to you. I can be reached at jeanluc-three@hotmail.com

Good luck everyone. The Trimix worked well for me until it didn't. No regrets at all about the implant - should have done it much sooner.....

I'm just curious, being new to Trimix myself: How long did it work for you, and do you know why it quit working?
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

It really never stopped working completely but was becoming less and less effective. And after two years it just became too painful both at the injection site and after ejaculation. It felt like someone had hit my shaft with a hammer. Very intense dull ache - took copious amounts of ibuprofen to get it to subside. I was also beginning to worry about scaring, but my surgeon told me post op that there was very little and that he had plenty of room for the cylinders. As to why it was becoming less effective, I don't know. Over the years I tried 4 different formularies trying to find something that was less painful and more reliable. Sometimes it was like injecting myself for nothing....Hope your experience is better.

So injecting was never really the answer for you, even in the beginning?
