How did I get erect with viagra without being excited?

I took viagra 3 weeks ago and was able to get erect. But I didn't feel sexual sensation in my penis. Yet I read that you need to feel sexually excited for viagra to work. But in my case I got erect without feeling sexually excited. What do you make of this and what do you suggest?
