testosterone/trt?

Postby ready2go » Tue Aug 05, 2025 8:48 pm

just curious if anyone had tried it before getting an implant .
my ex neighbor ,who lifted weights used it ,same age as me [now 66] and said it gave him hard morning wood and could bang his 27 ear old pinay girlfriend with no problems .
i would imagine it would not help VL . or would it ?
if i remember right ,he gave himself a shot every two weeks .

Dr Perito says it increases blood flow to the penis so I think it'd definitely help with your ability to have sex. May not be enough if you have severe ED though
Early 30s with ED from jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

i might try it for general energy , since i already have a malleable. But it would have been interesting to have tried it before the implant .

I’ve been on test for 2 years yeah it does help a bit maybe just a bit for the libido other than that I wouldn’t not consider getting the implant

I was on TRT for a year before getting an implant. It helped me a lot with my mood, energy, etc., but didn't do anything for my erections.

ok ,good to know . it sounds a little complicated according to some . like red blood cell count going up ,having to donate blood as a result etc .
but my ex neighbor didn't mention that.
i would like to try it on the smallest dose that makes a difference . but jabbing myself every week is a bit much .if every other week would work , i might try it .
a tube of " ANDROGEL 16.2 mg/g (1.62 % w/w) Transdermal Gel 88g "is about $45 . Seems kind of pricey .
test c or e at 10ml a bottle is $30 and dosed every 3rd or 4th day ?
im not into sticking myself with a needle that often .
but the cream dose ,says its good for 60 days . i could live with that .
what was your protocal ?

Do you still take it now?, what was your level before the started?
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

60mg 2x weekly (Monday and Thursday). My RBC did go up, but only a little. You have to be careful not to take too much. I use a 28ga insulin needle and really don't feel it at all unless I poke myself the wrong way.

I still take it now. My total T before starting was in the 200s and my free T was basically nonexistent. Now my total T is around 980 and my free is in the high range. I wasn't recovering from workouts, was constantly hungry for no reason, etc. TRT is not a fix-all, but it helped with a lot of things. I get bloodwork every 6 months and monitor a lot of biomarkers for any changes.
