1) go to the store and buy at least 5 bags of frozen peas. They're 99 cents per bag and you cant have too many of them.
2) plan for how youre going to handle having a wrapped up erection for 3-5 days. My surgeon sent me home partially inflated and pointing straight ahead. Getting out if the hospital was awkward. Walking around at home has been awkward but manageable when my daughter's are around.
3) dont underestimate how immobilized you'll be for several days after you get home from the hospital. I have a great job and family so im in good hands but if you don't have support or an understanding employer, you'll want to be ahead of that.
4) the baby socks... I read about that and didn't really get it. Here's the deal: they sent me home wrapped up like crazy all the way to the head with just the last inch exposed (assuming so i can pee). That means i have an extremely sensitive dickhead protruding ~8 inches in front of me ready to rub against anything and everything that comes along. Im not sure a baby sock would have fit over what I've got going on but I just cut the last 5 or 6 inches out of some old dress socks and I've been good to go but you'll need something.
**none of this is meant to discourage anyone from moving forward. Im just sharing what the most challenging parts have been so far me after just having been implanted 2 days ago. I have NO regrets.

~8" before IPP but not "hard" enough for pvi.
Tried everything as things progressed:
Pills, pumps, prp, trt, gainswave, peptides, trimix, quadmix and a vibrating ring.

What did you wear on your way from hospital to home if your dick was pointing straight ahead? Any recommendations? Also, did you have someone from familiy or friends pick you up or just medical transport was enough?

Easy money is right with the popcorn.
The baby Sox will come in handy. 1. They will catch a few dribbles. And 2. when you put a pair of pants on.

Re: Tips for anyone about to get implanted
I was unprepared so I used my little duffel bag and the nurse gave me a blanket. It was enough but there was some level of not giving a crap. That was quite a morning. (My most involved medical procedure before this was wisdom teeth).
I used medical transport. I highly recommend it for anyone worried about privacy. It was $100 and perfect. Im married and my wife is supportive and helpful and aware of what im doing here but I prefer to be as autonomous as possible. Im bad at asking for and accepting help. She's been taking care of me here at home but I told her from the start I wanted to do this as on-my-own as possible. I want the amazing seggs we are hopefully soon to enjoy to feel as natural as possible.

Re: Tips for anyone about to get implanted
Good post but some guys actually have zero pain and are back to work in a couple days if they have a non-physical job. Those are the lucky ones in my book because my recovery was tough.
Frank Talk is one of the best resources for anything related to ED. There is so much good information here.
Baggy sweatpants and a long hoodie or coat for covering up the bandaged penis that is sticking straight forward.
The baby sock works best if you cut off the elastic.
A small dab of Aspercream smeared on your shaft knocks the soreness down for hours. (Only if incision is healed)
A hot bath will ease soreness and is a good place to inflate/deflate (cycle). Doc should clear you to bathe/swim.
Heat may feel better after the first few days of ice.
