Early days cycling. Just starting the second week. When I fully pump up the most noticeable pain is where the tips of the tube push into the head of the penis. I figure that this will settle down over a period of time.
Afterwards I also feel a soreness in the front of thr perineum. Presume for the same reason. I am reasonably confident that this again is normal and will settle down in coming weeks.
My bigger concern and question is this. When fully pumped up it really hurts an incredible amount if I try and push the penis down to 3 o’clock. There is no way I can hold it down there for long. Will this ease up over a period of time?
At the moment I can only point it down when I am not fully inflated. Is this just me or is it typical for most guys in the early days of cycling and it will resolve itself over a period of time?

Trouble pointing penis to 3 o’clock
66 years old. Chronic ED since my early 50’s. Got to the point where high doses of pills were virtually useless. Did not want to proceed to injections. On 21 July 2025 implanted with Rigicon Infla10. Length 24cm, Volume 110ml, 1cm Extenders

Re: Trouble pointing penis to 3 o’clock
Wodjathat, I also experienced most of the pain at the end of the cylinders in the glans. Even now, 7 months post-op, when I max inflate that's where most of the pain is, but it goes away then I put in a couple more small pumps. And now I repeat that 4 or 5 times until I'm left with a dull pain for the rest of the cycling time. I haven't felt pain in the perineum.
I'm able to position anywhere between 2:00 and 4:00 for PIV, and in any position when flaccid. For a couple months post-op I couldn't position full up or full down because of a large ring, or collar, of edema at the base of the shaft. But once my body reabsorbed that I could position where ever I wanted.
You said that inflated you can't push down to 3:00, so then is it pointed up at 1:00 or 2:00 ? You also said you can only point down when flaccid, so is that 5:00 only ? In other words is it true that you're stuck up when inflated, and stuck down when flaccid ?

I don’t think I would try and point it down yet. Let it heal up. It’ll gravitate soon enough. But maybe someone will chime in here. Good Wood has talked about it before so if he don’t chime in send him a pm.

Thanks for responding and apologies about confusion of my message.
When flaccid, there are absolutely no issues. I can bend / point in any direction. All good.
Problem was when I was cycling. I’d lie on my back, dick pointing north (1 o’clock) and pump up. Pain in the tips in the gland as expected. Presuming that this would gradually settle down over a period of time. (I am nearly two weeks into cycling - I started at week five).
The BIG issue I had was that dick was pretty much stuck at 1pm. To try and bend or more accurately just point it down wasn’t just painfu. it was excruciating. Lucky if I could get it to 2 o’clock at best and only hold it there for a split second. It was that bad. This had me really concerned.
However, yesterday I tried a different approach to my cycling exercises. Instead of lying down I stood up and held my dick at 3 o’clock and started pumping. All good. At a semi rigid state I could keep it there and relatively easily move it to 1 o’clock and almost down to 4 o’clock. What a relief! Words can’t describe it. Also bent it against the banana shape (mine actually is not that bad) and against the kink in the bottom of the shaft. (Remember it was firm but not rock hard like a steel rod) There was some pain but it was tolerable, not extreme. There is a big difference.
I repeat, what an absolute relief, I was beginning to get very anxious.
I reckon I was only a pump or two away from being hard enough to be able to have sex.
I could even put in a few more pumps and move the dick up and down from say 1 to 3.30 o’clock with what I call reasonable pain. Definitely at a hardness that would be okay to have sex with.
But the best part was I could move my dick!! Afterwards I pumped all the way up. It was rock hard like a steel rod and it naturally radiated back to 1 o’clock. I knew it would be excruciating if I tried to move it down to even 2 o’clock so I didn’t even try It didn’t bother me , my interest was now purely to stretch things out for length and girth.
I have now done it twice this way. This morning I lay on my back but pointed the dick to 3 o’clock and then started pumping. I don’t think it was a lucky one off event (hope I haven’t started celebrating too soon)
My goal is to begin to have enjoyable sex with minimum to no pain by week 13. I have six weeks to go. Someone please tell me if I am being delusional.
The way I see things I now see my cycling process as a two stage process.
First stage is pump dick starting at the 3 o’clock position and to get it to a sufficient level of hardness as opposed to an extreme hardness. Then I begin to do ‘light weight’ Perito type exercises ( moving dick up and down from say at this stage from 1 to 4 o’clock and from side to side). I liken it to moving a gear stick with, supporting it from the bottom of my shaft but only doing minimal bending of the ‘gear stick’. I just want to be able to move the gear stick, not bend it too much or fold it in half. Definitely nothing extreme. I see no point in trying to bend a steel rod.
To finish of this stage I continue then to gradually put in a few more pumps whilst doing this. I want to be able to move it, not bend it. I am going to try and find the point where the dick is definitely pumped up hard enough to be able to have sex with little or minimal tolerable pain. Be nice just to know I can move the dick up and down and side to side, much like a pre IPP dick would do.
Then stage two of my cycling process will be to get it hard as I possibly can. I will not be fussed if it is stuck at 1 o’clock. The objective is simply to give every opportunity to maximise length and girth over a period of time. That sort of pain I can tolerate over a period of time (and will gradually increase that time over the coming weeks). That is my new refined cycling process.
When it comes to pumping up for sex in about 6 weeks time my intention will be to get it comfortably hard (as opposed to getting to the biggest I can) so I can enjoy sex and have all the time in the world to give my partner pleasure. I want her to say to me ‘stop’.
I figure (hope) that six weeks will be enough time to get to a point where I am both comfortable and confident.
Sorry for the ramblings. I went into a bit of detail so if anyone can identify that I am doing something wrong, please tell me now rather than let me damage things or miss opportunities to get things right or optimised.

Thanks for that. At this stage all I am wanting is to have a reasonable range of movement for normal or typical sex positions. I am hoping that means I should be able to have dick anywhere from 1 to say 3.30 or 4.00 o’clock and to the sides a bit as well.
Keep in mind that I didn’t start the cycling process until week 5 post surgery. I am nearly 2 weeks into the cycling process.
But I hear you. Best to let things heal. Makes sense. I know we have to expect a reasonable level of pain to regain length and girth. The key word I guess is ‘reasonable’. It was just doing my head in when I couldn’t move my penis unless I experienced excruciating pain.
Fingers crossed I have now got this sorted.
My big problem is when I get into doing something I have a tendency to overdo it and then pay the price for doing that. No pain, no gain. I get it . Just have to keep remembering the word ‘reasonable’ as well

Wodjathat, what a great update ! Glad you have the 'mobility' working. And your cycling routine sounds well thought-out. You're doing great, anxious to hear how things progress.

Re: Trouble pointing penis to 3 o’clock
Most guys want their dick to stick up to 1-2 o'clock. If you are 1-3 o'clock depending on position then that sounds pretty ideal!
