Injecting Multiple Times Daily/Weekly

Hi folks...are there any guys here that have used injections beyond their guidelines?

I was very nearly at the edge of booking an implant but lately I've been getting very good results with the injections. I test their efficacy about once weekly while masturbating and maybe once monthly for sex with an escort. I am single and I don't have any partners for frequent intercourse.

I have prescriptions for alprostadil. The last few times I've taken 20mcg it has given me very good erections. I also have a prescription for Viridal Duo 40 which is basically an easy-to-inject 40mcg shot of alprostadil.

If I keep getting good results I will likely consider using these shots for a few months (or years), and I will try to open myself up to opportunities for relationships/partners. However, if I get into a sexual relationship I might want to perform very frequently, and if sex is expected of me twice in a day or 5 times in a weekend, I will inject in accordance with that. I would inject 3 times in a day, in the off-chance that I found myself expected to perform like that.

My most recent uro - Dr Rowland Rees in London; a world renowned implant surgeon - said I could inject once a day every day if I wanted to but advised avoiding doing more than one shot a day. He didn't really explain why or emphasise it too much, but they were the kind of guidelines that he suggested.

Has anyone here used shots generously and frivolously? If so, did you get any bad side effects?

I would say from being on this site for two years now, that the common idea or belief is to inject once a day. The fear is if you inject twice or three times that you will get a Priapism and need a hospital visit.
I would suggest that if you need to inject multiple times then only start with twice a day on the caveat that you have some liquid Pseudoephedrine, which is the active ingredient in Sudafed. So have some pills handy too. If going on for 3-4 hours you inject with the Pseudoephedrine.

On the other hand, I get hard for a good two hours. After an hour with a fairly large dick, my wife generally has had enough. By that time she has had multiple orgasms and I get my big blow off at the end. So consider, Trimix can help you last a lot longer. I my previous incarnation I would only be able to last up to 15 minutes and sometimes come in 3-5. So when you start banging a muff for an hour with a very erect cock you may not need to rinse and repeat 4 times a day. Then again I am 68.

Last injection I took more, after the previous session was not that great. My penis was very hard for over 2 hours, I popped two Sudafed and my dick went soft in 20 minutes.

Thanks for your input mate. If one shot let's me bang away for an hour I'm sure that will be sufficient enough.

However I'm mid 30s, and I'm just trying to imagine every scenario that could possibly happen should I find a partner that wants to be sexual with me. I understand that most couples aren't going at it 10 times a day, but as a young man I want to feel confident with my penis in case I ever meet a young lady that wants to ride for long sessions, and more than once in a day. I'm aware that most sex sessions only last a few minutes, but at my age it's not uncommon to have a dick that will get hard and stay hard, and function for sex more than once a day if the situation arises.

I'm weighing all this up in my decision to choose either an Implant or Injections for the foreseeable future.

I completely understand, I do remember being a very horny young man, sometimes doing it up to 10 times a day. If I can make a suggestion and I have read hundreds of these same pieces of advice; start with Trimix and see how you react to it and only if you feel it failing then look at an implant.
One of the things that strike me here is the failure rates of inflatables, massive. If I was your age and considering failure rates I would go with a malleable.
If Trimix stops working for me that is the way I am going to go.
