Reservoir Pain

Postby Isleman67 » Mon Sep 08, 2025 9:41 am

Hi, new to the forum but have a pressing question. Had a Coloplast Titan installed 8/26/25. First week was rough but was getting better. Most pain was in the reservoir region. Was deflated 9/3 and OMG. Sharp stabbing pain in the reservoir region. Got worse as I drove home from the Dr. office. Today 9/8 getting slowly better but still controlling pain with lots of ibuprofen. I'm hoping someone can tell me if this is if not normal at least not uncommon. Reservoir is located on the right side of my abdomen.

Thank you,

Tom

I don’t know how common this is, but it sounds like the reservoir was forming a capsule, and when fluid went back into the reservoir the capsule had to stretch and push against the surrounding tissue, which might still be tender from your surgery.

It might be normal but you should definitely tell your surgeon. Does the pain subside when you cycle and move fluid out of the reservoir? That’s what I would expect if my hypothesis above is correct.

Hope things get better for you!

The day doc deflated me I was sore around my reservoir area. That lasted a few days as I remember, but then I was left inflated for 5 1/2 weeks. ElbowRoom's thought seems correct, tissue needing to stretch out.

Have a call into my doc right now. Not cycling I was told to wait 2 or 3 weeks till tenderness subsides. Thanks for the response ElbowRoom!

Please check with your surgeon and stay strong. After the capsule matures, you're going to be enjoying the greatest cock of your lifetime.

You're welcome brother. When you're cleared to cycle, just pump up your on-demand bionic cock and stay proud.

I’m so sorry that you’re hurting, friend. I think it might be unusual to have pain there?
My experience with it is that I have no idea where in my lower abdominal area it sits.
October 27 is my two year dickaversary, and I plan to ask my doc where exactly it is.
I do recall some bruising in that area, but nothing serious. Hopefully it will heal soon and you can enjoy your newest toy.

Your body is getting used to the new roommates, it takes time, sounds like you’re thin like me.
I had to have a revision to pit mine in deeper Lol so it didn’t show on the outside, I still feel it on there when exercising at the gym.
Give it time, let the doc know. In a year you’ll be like… im superman
