I have a Coloplast Titan malfunction, and as far as I have learned, this just means I can't inflate up an erection. (no other danger) I'm not sexually active at this time, so I'm wondering if I can take my time, and weigh options on the revision.
There is negative pressure in the cylinders, so they are quite deflated, but they still provide something of a placeholder in there. ....(but without regularly inflating (and because they are sucked to their thinnest footprint ever) I worry about the cavity (capsule?) reducing itself....or shrinkage) ....
On another post, someone recommended Vacuum (VED) during the interim period.....but I think that was someone just brainstorming/speculating.....I didn't get the impression they knew anything.
Does anyone have any definite Knowlege as to whether the uninflated cylinders are taking up enough space in there, (to temporarily keep everything as it should be?) or do I have a "window" to get the revision? or is VED even a "thing" in such a situation (while I'm waiting) ?
Has anyone just lived with a broken IPP for many months on end? or years on end ???
Any downside to postponing the revision of a malfunctioning IPP (for months on end)

I lived with a failed implant for approximately 20 years.
No problem.
Here's my story.

Wow! thanks for this. Many similarities here. I'm also dealing with family responsibilities, and in a non-sex season of my life (with or without a working IPP)
I also had fairly decent natural erectile function when my implant was not even inflated...(just from the positive pressure and partial fluids and cylinder expansion ....plus my natural engorgement) ....so I rarely even inflated, it was fine for wanking (id call it a partial)
Since the malfunction, the cylinders are sucked flat and it's not really even a partial. it's not "dead" ....but the natural engorgement (when invoked) just fleshes things out now (no real rigidity now without the help of the partially full cylinders)
that's why i wondered about "regression". I never cared when the empty cylinders were "helping" fill the void....but the vacuumed out cylinders have a much smaller footprint in there.
Thanks again for sharing your story !
