Sorry, my original wording was poor. I think this is better and I've been using the search function to read more about proximal/distal...
Round 2.
What's your post-op distal/proximal length(s). Where you infrapubic/penoscrotal? Final IPP/RTE length(s)?

Re: Distal Lengths. Do you know yours? Was it given in your post-op chart/notes?
Duh…I meant proximal. Can admin fix my post? Change distal to proximal?

Generally the proximal and distal length will be included in the surgeons procedure note.
But it’s the proximal and distal lengths from where the surgeon makes their incision into the corpora. It’s not necessarily the distance from the base of my visible, external penis. If they make their incision a cm closer to the glans they will get measurements 1 cm shorter for one and 1 cm longer for the other but will get the same combined number.
The important thing for the measurement is the proximal + distal measurement combined is how they determine the cylinder size they use. Thats it.

Desperado wrote:Odd question. I’ve watched so many IPP surgery videos, hence the “field goal” test (when both proximal measurements are equal) and so on.
And of course the lengths of the IPP’s here in discussion and the penis lengths respectively.
But I haven’t seen much discussion about distal lengths. So I’ll start a thread and then go search too.
Cheers.
Desperado, I’ll give you both
Distal was 11cm
Proximal was 10cm

After surgery they will usually give you a copy of the procedure paperwork, including your distal and proximal lengths.
My distal and proximal measurements are exactly the same as SWorks at 11 cm and 10 cm.
I have the same overall cylinder length as him at 21 cm, which suggests that we were both sized correctly.
The only difference is that I have no RTEs. That can be the surgeon's preference one way or the other.
Or what they think will give the patient the best result for their anatomy.

I just reviewed my surgery notes. Mine says a proximal length of 8cm & a distal length of 17cm. But my understanding is the same in that it's referring to incision site.
Btw I think you can edit the subject question/statement as well as the body yourself if you click the little quotations on your post

I don't know what happened to your post but I see you changed the topic title to:
What's your post-op distal/proximal length(s). Where you infrapubic/penoscrotal? Final IPP/RTE length(s)?
So I'll summarise mine for completeness:
Distal = 11 cm
Proximal = 10 cm
Infrapubic/Penoscrotal = Penoscrotal
Final IPP length = 21 cm
RTE length/s = Zero, RTEs not used

Hm, I was checking my medical report again, but cannot find any numbers about distal and proximal length?
So when I have Coloplast 22cm implant and 3cm RTE, what is the minimum or maximum length of my cock I can expect after some time?
Because by now (5 weeks after surgery) it is only 15cm and I had a 20cm cock before.
