Has anyone got Medicare to pay for implant surgery below its age requirement?

Postby macoza » Mon Oct 27, 2025 10:13 pm

I'm in my 50s and want an implant. I dont have Medicare but Medicare covers cost of an implant. The problem is that I'm not 65 years old which is the age youre granted Medicare. Has anyone here tried to get Medicare to get implant surgery below the age requirement of 65?

How could you? You’re not eligible for the insurance, so no way they’d cover you. It’s like asking if you can get Allstate to cover your surgery even if you don’t have a policy with them.

Duhh no kidding.. Thats why I'm asking if its possible for Medicare to make an exception. Why are there so many old trolls online?

Hey pal:

I think you should apply the "Duh" comment to yourself and take a good look in the mirror. Medicare is for people on SSDI, Social Security or at 65 when you become eligible. Why would Medicare make an exception just for YOU? If you're permanently disabled and qualify for SSDI, then you will go on Medicare and it will pay for your surgery. Other than that, you'll have to find another way to pay for it. Like through your current health insurance plan. Or, start a GoFundMe campaign.

Hey Maud,

I think you should apply the 'duh' comment to your weird name and accept your advanced age. There have been cases where social security has made exceptions for people who were <65 years of age. Why can't other federal programs do the same just cuz YOURE old and we're not? If surgeries are costly some programs can cut you a break. If they cant then they cant. A simple question invited all these old folks to get angry

staphylococcusecoli, seriously, you're insults and trolling (see image) must cease. This is an serious forum for help, not for offending others or defending your troll friends in such a disgusting way.
