Malleable Boston Scientific 3 Weeks Angle

Postby RVguy22 » Sun Nov 02, 2025 11:13 pm

Hello guys, I’m just wondering because I’m not forcing anything yet at 3 1/2 weeks, but I can’t get the penis down past 4 o’clock nor can I get it higher than say 10 o’clock or maybe 11.
Does anybody have experience with this to make me feel better that I will eventually be able to get this thing down lower? I cannot walk around at 4 o’clock. It’s making things difficult to navigate when around family and stuff like that.
I am a slower heeler because I have type two, and this is a revision from a Titan in which I got an affection so I might even be a little more tender than usual. I’m just looking for someone to give me an encouraging answer. :) Thanks!

Hey RVGuy,
I’ve got a Coloplast Genesis malleable. It wasn’t until day 44 that I could bend it cleanly to 90° (straight down, 6 o’clock). Before that it felt like a scary pair of steel pipes set in concrete, no give at all. Around week 6-7 it started to settle, and by week 7-8 it was easily manageable and under control. Slow healer here too. Go easy on yourself, time helps, and you’ll get there too once the shaft soreness cools down.

Interesting results for you two
and mine being the opposite.
.both of you had the subcoronal approach ?
i had the rods inserted through the scrotum- infrapubic , which in the final step the rods need to be doubled over for the last part of insertion, and i think that damages them at the hinge . . the other method , the rods are slid down the shaft , and the glans pulled over the tips . so the rods are in pristine condition.
i was ready to get on the plane the day after the surgery and would have if i could have changed the fight day .
it seems in the long run ,after the initial discomfit and awkwardness ,the subcoronal method is better .
American , retired in the philippines .
tactra malleable 13 mm ,in new delhi India . on april 2024

I was a fast healer but had a pretty similar experience. My penis was like rebar until the first 5 weeks or so, and now it's more manageable at 11 months in.

Still using it multiple times per week, still loving every minute of it.

I'm posting my one-year report in December!

Congrats on your malleable!

Thank you! So after five weeks it became somewhat manageable? I don’t mind waiting for the full healing process, but I have to dress professionally and it’s such an aggravating situation trying to conceal it! How long before sex did you wait? Also how about actual penis pain subsiding? I’m gradually feeling less pain, but that’s still using gabapentin and Tylenol lol

I work from home, so that solved a lot of my problems for me. Pain went away almost entirely at the first week mark, if I'm remembering right. I still had tenderness at 3 weeks. I finally had sex at 5 weeks and it was amazing. Literally went for three hours, lol.

I recommend the Kinetic Pants from the Ministry of Supply. They are formal, but soft and flexible.

Same here. Work from home. On special occasions, light polyester suit pants + Separatec kept things comfortable after week 8. I had pain for two full months and once the oxycodone ran out, I was on Gabapentin, max-dose Tylenol and max-dose Ibuprofen. First PIV sex was at week 10. I got cleared only after week 8 as the incision was not closing at week 6.

Hey Duke, I’m stoked to hear that you’ll be posting a “year in review” report in December :D

I’ve decided ultimately that the malleable will be the right choice for me - biggest worry now is actually the bending aspect that you’re experiencing RVGuy.

I was leaning Rigi10 on account of the rigidity - but I’ve heard mixed reviews on the bend ability. Might go with the Genesis ultimately. When all is said and done, I just want a reliable erection!

RVGuy the good news is that from most things I’ve read on the forum, the process of bending it does get better overall with time as your body heals and the malleable settles in.
Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.
