2 weeks out, Dr Clavell

It's been two weeks since I had my surgery with Dr Clavell in Houston. Just having all the stress and anxiety of the decision making process behind me is a big relief.
For those of you that may be thinking about travelling for your surgery, it's not that big of a deal. The day after my surgery I laid around and rested, went to bed early that night and slept pretty well. The next day when I woke up, I felt great. No Pain. I took a shower, and removed all the tape and mummy wrap. The most painful part of this whole thing was pulling off that surgical tape! A word of advice. Get some surgical glue remover to get the residue off because your underwear will stick to it.
Dr Clavell leaves his patients about 40=50% inflated, and recommends staying that way for 6 weeks, so this requires some packaging.
Wearing the David Archy fly boxer briefs, my inflated penis could stick up though the slot with a baby sock on it, then put on another pair of briefs, then my sweat pants that I bought just to fly home in. Everything was quite comfortable for my two flights with a short layover in Atlanta.
As far as pain and discomfort, the best way I know to describe it, in my shaft would be like those raging painful hardons I used to get as a teenager. Other times it felt kind of like a sunburn and the glans was very sensitive. I only took Tylenol, and only used ice twice.

Immediately after the surgery my dick was swollen and appeared huge. I was hoping it would stay that way. At two weeks most of the swelling is gone, so, not so huge. There is still some bruising and the stiches haven't come out yet. The good news is it appears that I'm equal to my pre-surgery length, and maybe a little more in girth. Hopefully when I start cycling I will gain some of my pre-ED size back.

I got the same impression when I had my interview with him, but from researching here and other places, I believe it was the best choice for me.

So basically you're the one who told him I want a CX and he agreed with you, is that correct? Did he mention anything specific about pros and cons of Titan vs CX other that the standard stuff?

Welcome fellow Clavellian! I'm going on 3 years now, everything works great and I'm VERY happy I paid out of pocket for Dr. Clavell. I could have paid $20 copay at Kaiser, but I happily paid 1000x that for what I perceive to be the very best.

I too did a bunch of research and was leaning towards an AMS when I consulted with Dr. Clavell (I specifically wanted a high volume, highly skilled surgeon that offered both the AMS and Coloplast). After our consultation and discussion about my lifestyle, anatomy, desires, etc., I asked him which option he thought was best for me. I purposely did not let him know I was personally leaning AMS, as I wanted a surgeon's opinion without my influence.

He said for me, he recommended the AMS. I booked the surgery that same day and have been 100% happy ever since.

My Dr. suggested the AMS as well and I have been very happy with it. Flaccid state isn't bad at all just bigger than before and there isn't any weird dog ears or anything like that. I have the tenacio pump and I have to admit I use both hands to pump that puppy. Two reasons for that, it's easier and it keeps the fingers from slipping avoiding the finger snapping of the balls. Maybe in the future I can use one hand but much easier with two and ball protection is nice. I'm pretty much at pre op size so like I say overall I'm very happy. So is my wife.
