Will Salvage Radiation Damage My Implant
Prostate removed then approximately 1 year later I got an implant. I’m scheduled for salvage radiation of prostate bed due to lingering cancer cells. They want to do radiation over 33 sessions. My question is will this possibly damage my implant or its plumbing? I plan to discuss with my radiologist, but wondered if anyone has this experience.

Re: Will Salvage Radiation Damage My Implant
Hi brother, i got radiation 2 years after my latest implant surgery (prostatectomy was back in 2015).
Did not impact the implant at all but did notice some changes in natural blood flow and engorgement to the shaft and glans. I ended up getting fillers with the implant but had bad infection. This was a terrible decision.
