AMS 700 Tenacio Pump Recall - New Additions

Postby RigiconDownUnder » Mon Jan 05, 2026 1:56 am

Are there any new recalled additions for the AMS 700 Tenacio pump models?

How is the Tenacio pump different from the MS Pump?

Clavell has a video on this:

Hakky has a comprehensive video on pumps which cover the tenacio:

55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

sambalamba, to my knowledge there's only been one recall. I get updates from BS and my Dr. Mine was on the recall list, but fortunately not affected. Only a small number of pumps on that very small list were affected. It was a one-time issue during early production that was quickly addressed.

Mine works great and is easy to pump up quickly.
