It all kicked off on an afternoon while I was out in my garage as I was tinkering with my 67 Mustang I'd been feeling a bit off short of breath, a nagging ache in my chest but I chalked it up to my age. "Push through it," I told myself, like I always do. But then, bam! It hit me like a lightning bolt: searing pain radiating down my arm, vision blurring, the whole nine yards. I dropped the tools, staggered inside, and hollered for my wife. She took one look at me and called 911 faster than you can say "heart attack."
The ambulance ride to the ER was a blur sirens wailing, paramedics poking and prodding, hooking me up to monitors. By the time we got there, the docs confirmed it: a major cardiac event, arteries blocked up worse than rush-hour traffic. They rushed me through tests an EKG, blood work, the works and before I knew it, the cardiologist was laying it out: "You need a CABG". Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, they called it.
They'd harvest veins from my leg and reroute blood around those clogged pipes in my heart.
I nodded, trying to stay cool, but inside I was thinking, "Well, at least I've got experience with upgrades." See, back in 2022, I had a radical prostatectomy, and then in 2024, after things were still less than operational downstairs, I got myself a Titan. It's this top-notch, reliable as they come, reliably inflates and reliably deflates, with a pump in the scrotum, cylinders in the dick, and a reservoir in the abdomen. Feels natural, works like a charm, and it's been my "secret superpower" ever since, keeping our 45-year marriage spicy.
Surgery happened the next day. I woke up in ICU feeling like I'd wrestled a bear, with tubes snaking out of me and a fresh scar down my chest from the four bypasses they did.
The nurses were angels, checking on me every hour, one even paid attention to my implant and asked questions, and the doc said everything went textbook perfect. "You're a tough one," he said. "With this and your Titan, you're practically an upgraded bionic." I laughed through the pain meds yeah, that's me, part man, part machine.
Fast forward a few days, and I'm back home, taking it slow with walks around the neighborhood and heart-healthy eats (goodbye, fried catfish; hello, salads).
But let me tell ya, life is great being bionic.
I'll repeat:
Life is great being bionic.
My ticker's pumping strong, that Titan implant's still my trusty sidekick, and I feel like I've got a new lease on life.
I always show off some SFW surgical scars at the family barbecue and the grandkids think I'm a superhero.
Who knew at 71, an ER scare would make me feel invincible?
Folks - life is short, enjoy your implants like today is your last day.

Congratulations on surviving the coronary event, I had one 4 yrs ago and at that time a working Titan, after the event I most definitely started enjoying life and the Titan broke and then went and got a AMS.. you are correct, enjoy the time we have.

I’m 33 years old and trying to keep that front and center man. It’s so easy to forget, but every single day you gotta do things for yourself to enjoy the life you’ve been given.

Man! I’m glad you’re still with us Titanupover!
I hope that I don’t have any clogged arteries, I had a heart stress test with the VA and Air Force back around 2018 and everything looked good. They did the dye with a CAT scan too and that looked good too. I do take Lipitor because I use to have high cholesterol but my levels are great now.
Besides my Bionic Dick, I have two Bionic knees, which are fantastic! I road bike cycle 100 to 170 miles a week.
I call myself the 12 million dollar man! lol
The knees have been great but having a Bionic On Demand Dick is even better!
Keep hanging in there Titanupover!
Keep enjoying your Bionic Weapon with the Wifey
