Brothers in arms (for love not war)

Postby richard_goes_bionic » Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:56 pm

alloy me to put this on its own topic.

I dont wont to bother you with my sex live but let me explain to you why I am sharing this intimacies with you. we are all in the same boat and have been through a lot. ED is hell on earth and it's a scandal that there are still so many out there who have to struggle and try to get together your financials so you can have your surgery. It's a disease which qualifies 100% health insurance coverage like a new hip for instance. It's not only physical like a hip is but at least as much psychological devastating. And I am shocked to read here so often about the guys which are effected of ED in so much younger age then us with 50/60+. Some even never experienced a normal sex life at all. My thoughts and prayers goes out to you to find and be able to get the help you deserve.

As you might understand I have been very sexual active, from my early teen age until ED hit for full and this more than a decade of denial, of suppressing, of hiding makes me realize now what we have been through and here I dont mean only us men but also our wives which stood by our side all the way. Now I understand what she and all the others have been missing. The fact that we had understanding partners kept us maybe also longer in this situation because we fooled ourself to believe it isn't that bad for a long time. I know for myself I did it and she suffered in silence. Even when I occasionally got it up than I came way to early and the result was the same, no satisfaction for her.
The fact that now I can do again what I have been doing most of my adult life and in a way like I am 18 years old, just with the experience of a 60+ is priceless. It's a cliché but it is really superpower.

That's the reason why I have shared with you not only my new life but also hers. I dont have words to describe the feelings I have when I see I can make her happy again. In the beginning of my time here on FT when I f.ex. read the posts of Dan the man, I thought he was exaggerating when it came to the new bionic life. Now I know, none at all he was. it is really that important.
Sex is not everything but without sex, life is nothing.

If some of this I have been posting can encourage just a few to go all the way than my purpose has been fulfilled.
So maybe I will bother you with some more storys, if you mind let me know, I might not stop, you dont have to read it.
I wish all of you who just had or will have in the future a complication free surgery and a speedy recovery without problems.

Many thanks to the community!
Richard

Richard, we love the stories. There should be more stories of success on here. I agree entirely that guys need to hear the success. For every post about success and how happy a guy is, how many posts are there complaining about short term length loss (almost always gained back)? New visitors to the site need to hear about success.

However, we are not brothers in arms. Our bionic weapons are for making love, not war!

Be well,
Leto
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Richard, it's a nice read and I'm happy you are on the road to encourage others to get an implant.
ED is a devastating chronic disease that turns men to a psychogenic wrack.
And we are all here to support each other. The community of FT helped so many of us to go through the process of the wonderful cure of our ED, giving us a new functional dick. FT is the only place we can talk in the way some of us do, so why not to share our experience of our wonderful sexual life :?:
And it's normal, we are so very happy and tell our stories, even if it's sometimes getting boring for others, it does serve as a real help for newbies to move forward to solve their ED associated miserable sexual life.
And thank you for the kind words, I'm happy to know that for some of you my stories had an impact on their decision to get an implant :D
Remember:
Life is short so a day without good sex is a lost day :!:
Keep up your good work :!:
