Hello from Germany

Postby And1975 » Wed May 13, 2026 8:45 am

Hi there,

I am writing from Germany. 50 years old. ED started more than 10 years ago. It is getting pretty severe now and I am trying to find a way to accept that.

I tried everything, besides implants. Alprostadil works as injection, but it feels like it is bursting from inside.

Married for more than 25 years now, I am on my way to acceptance, but also still on the search for something to slow this development down.

Hello. Around my mid 50's is when ED started for me. I tried a lot of things, from men's supplements to Viagra to injections. Unfortunately, ED just kept getting worse to the point even injections would not work. There is no cure for ED, sadly.
The implant is a fix, not a cure, but it's a great option. Don't let ED control your life, seek out a good men's sexual health urologist to see how they can help.

I know, there is only one way to "cure". I have an appointment at the ed-specialist in the university-hospital close to us. I want to talk to him about implants. I am pretty sure, but sometimes I think about not risking the surgery.
