Failure To Launch!

Postby vincentarpino » Fri Jul 10, 2026 5:46 pm

Good Evening Brothers:

I have a PROBLEM and I need your input and experience. July 4th was my 8 month mark since my implant. Those of you who've been playing along at home may remember my angst after surgery over size and my being not very happy with my surgeon's "after-care." Thanks to so many of you, I got through those first couple of months and once I was able to cycle, I have been doing it 2X/Daily and for the first four months, did the Perito Exercises.

I have regained most of my original size and girth. I am now a shower and it looks and feels great even when flaccid. It has also worked spectacularly and I've been very happy.

UNTIL YESTERDAY!

So, here is what happened: I was in the shower in the late morning and cycling. My typical routine is to hit the deflate valve and then, at the suggestion of Boston Scientific, give one short squeeze of the pump to clear out any fluid...I can always feel it and I know it's the sign to start pumping. So, I started pumping. And after about 10 or 12 pumps I had this awful burning sensation in the left side of my scrotum. Also, I immediately noticed that there was a raised white area on the right side of my shaft. I stopped for a few minutes. Got out of the shower, etc. When I went to start pumping again...NOTHING HAPPENED! Nothing was pumping into the cylinders and I remained in my flaccid state.

So, deciding not to freak out just yet, I tried again last night, and, this time, when I hit the deflate button, my penis got as small as it was right after the surgery and...nothing was pumping. In fact, when I squeezed the bulb, the two ends were touching and not refilling. And my dick was just there. By this morning, my dick looks like all of the work I put in over the past six months was gone. Again, I tried the pump...and...nothing.

From following on here, my guess is that I may have sprung a leak in the reservoir and there is no saline to pump? That is why the two ends of the bulb can be squeezed together and nothing is happening.

I have an appointment to see my urologist on Tuesday morning. The thought of having to have revision surgery so soon is really concerning to me.

Sooooo....any insight? All answers are appreciated as always!

Only you can decide that. This is an expensive operation to go through again so soon, IMHO, so I would go with the malleable.
However, check with your insurance deductible.
More than likely, you have already met your deductible with this operation, so this next operation would basically be free (if done in the same calendar year).

Speaking only for myself, I have decided if/when my Titan finally fails, will go with a malleable. I will be too old to pump/deflate with my arthritis and what not.

Long story, but I went through 3 surgeries, 2 within the same year. But all in all, my Titan cost me around 16K, out of pocket, but with insurance, over 90k+

Good Luck!

Hi Vince that sounds awful. Looks like a leak in the reservoir or in one of the tubes if you can squeeze the bulb together and nothing happens. I wish you luck with the upcoming challenges.

Hi Vince,
looks like a leak somewhere, how ever see your surgeon and maybe it just need a reset of the pump.
All the best

Another "brother" bites the dust... no mystery here. It's a leak, and you'll have to go through it all again with a higher risk of horrible complications... nothing new. It happens daily... no need for a long essay.

Or, if you're looking for a wise LGXDownsucking essay on how to evade that horrible fate...

I'm gonna summarize the technique for you... do 3 to 4 mini pumps while squeezing the cylinders, then cross your fingers and stick it up LGXDownUnder's ass...the trick will fail because lgxdownunder is a demented gentleman plaquing the site with nonsense....then you will have to go under the knife again, and when you get out of the OR (hopefully), let the Army brothers (Cbinspok and SWorks) cheer you like a fellow marine coming back to duty... don't forget kodixx empty wishfull thinking and positive farts...Cherry on the top.
