After two infections, first on a revision(Feb 24th)and then on a salvage revision (May 13th) I underwent a 3rd surgery and was explanted 5 weeks ago today (June 17th). Took 4 weeks for the incision to heal enough that I could start gently using a VED. Now after 5 days of pumping I’m doing it twice daily for 30 minutes and have brought the level up quite a bit. At first I couldn’t get much size out of it but over last 5 days I’m almost back up to my implanted length when pumped up. Just today I tried a band around my dick and it held but squeezed in so much that it left me flopping at the band. So later today I tried a band around my nuts and top of penis. It seems to work great and hopefully will allow me to cum without the restrictions on the underside of the penis. So far I’ve been able to climax with a softie but desperately trying to keep it hard some way. Will know tonight if the band around all of it will work with PIV sex. Plan is to go back with a new implant in mid September which will be 3 months explanted. I’m feeling very health for the first time in many months already and feel the 3 month wait will find me good enough to do it one last time I hope.Any ideas or words of advise would be greatly appreciated. This has been a terrible 5 months but things are looking up!

I've been following your posts Rider1400 and I'm so sorry for all the crap that you've had to endure.
Getting a satisfactory result shouldn't be that difficult but unfortunately things do occasionally go pear shaped.
The good news is that it seems that you may have turned a corner and can look forward to a successful implant very soon.
That time will pass sooner than you think. I know I'm preaching to the choir but keep taking things slowly with the VED.
It's a fantastic tool to restore size in my experience but best not to overdo it given the recent healing.

While I had ED ultimately my only vaguely workable solution for PIV sex was a Vacurect VED using one of the tighter sleeves it comes with.
I would also add a tight cock ring on top of that. Occasionally I also tried the cock and balls thing as well. In fact I was always ordering various toys etc online hoping to find a miracle. But I could only ever manage 20 to 30 seconds of penetration before I started losing my erection and had to pump with the VED again. Fiddling around with all that and a stop, start approach is not a very convenient way to have sex for anyone, but far better than none! And at least I was able to orgasm eventually while basically soft, even if it took forever (thanking my ever patient wife).

Wishing you a well-deserved reboot, Rider1400 from September onwards after this transient and bumpy ride. Sounds like you are doing well with the VED and keeping the tissues supple by the repeated expansion and drawing blood.

Are you also on daily 5 mg Tadalafil to optimize the blood flow when you are not using the VED (with the doctor’s approval, of course!)? Or is this not recommended and beneficial this time?

Sorry to hear Rider1400, however it's good to give the tissue the chance to heal-up before a new device is put inside.
Also happy to hear, you come around somehow and are able to look forward for the day you'll get a new dick and have great sex again.

Rider, I'm happy you feeling better and I hope your situation will be resolved soon. Given the particular case you endured , id like to ask if now do you present any visible scar or anything. Would you feeling comfortable sharing pics if so?

I tried the cialis at 5mg dose at week 2 but caused a constant ache in shaft for 12 hours! Yesterday I tried it again and didn’t have any pain. Noticed a slightly better VED pump while on it so yes I’m now on daily for any good it might do.

sorry don’t do pics, but the incision scar never healed between second revision and explantation. Looked red, irritated and oozing for the whole 5 weeks or so. Now 5 weeks after last surgery it’s finally dried out and healed up. Just a clean scar right down the middle line. I’m sure at next surgery he will clean up any scar tissue that may be there. I have no issue if it just stays as good as it is now. There are no other signs anywhere else just the scar which will probably fade out after a few months. Just in time to cut it open again
