Offered the new Titan Prime next month, one of the first. Anyone have info/advice?

My surgeon has offered me the new Titan Prime for my implant next month. Since it just got FDA approval, I’d be one of the first in the world to get one. He doesn’t have much info on it yet beyond the press release (easier but larger deflation pump, tougher tubing, less dog ears supposedly).

Naturally, I do not want to be a lab rat but am 22 and the prospect of a longer lasting device tempts me. Has anyone here heard anything about the Prime from their surgeon or rep, or been offered one? Any reason you’d take it or pass on it in favor of the proven Titan? All info and opinions welcome.

My surgeon was one of the first to get to see the Prime and review the changes. He thinks it will make a big difference and be significantly better and more durable. If my Titan failed today I’d definitely try to get the Prime installed as a replacement.

I’m just 4 months post-op with a Titan and have significant dog ears at this point, in the deflated state. Of course I can ease the dog ears a bit by adding a few pumps. But the inflated size, angle, function, is fantastic. I’m hoping that the cylinders will soften some over the next year, and that I will get many years from this implant.
If I was getting an implant now, I would be excited to get a Titan Prime.

You should do it. I took the leap on the rigicon. Im sure the future ipps are similar — less dog ears, more natural feel. Titans are known to be durable. Youre young, youll need 5-6 of them in your lifetime. Dont stress too much about it. Get a good surgeon. Its the most important thing compared to titan vs ams vs rigicon.

Some generalities though, titan at least the older version, hakky prefers in young men as easier to swap during replacement. Also super hard. If you engage in anal sex then it would be more rigid.

Thickest in the market currently is the rigicon - but it really still matters what youre preop girth is.

A well sized ipp is what will satisfy you the most.

Im sure youll learn the pump well enough with time.

Im 4 months out, ive regained my preop size. Im at 7.25 inches bpel and 6.25 girth midshaft with the rigicon infla10ax 23 cm. Love my ipp. Love my surgeon
