About panile implant

Hi everyone,
My name is Hammad iwas planning to have a penile implant toward the end of this year. However, I recently developed sudden severe lower-back pain and was diagnosed with an L5-S1 disc protrusion.
Thankfully, my back and leg symptoms have been improving significantly with conservative treatment, but this has made me concerned about whether I can still safely proceed with penile implant surgery once my back has recovered.
I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a penile implant after having a lumbar disc problem, herniated disc, or similar back condition.
A few things I would especially like to know:
Did your back condition affect your decision or timing for the implant?
How long did you wait after your back symptoms improved before having the implant?
Did the implant surgery or anesthesia cause any problems with your back?
Were you able to return to normal activities after both conditions?
If you have been in a similar situation, is there anything you wish you had known beforehand?
I understand that everyone's situation is different and that I will need clearance from my doctors. I'm mainly looking for real-world experiences from people who have been through something similar.
