Using a Constriction Band

Postby jtc_hunter » Tue Jul 09, 2013 11:18 am

I am just about through my first vial of Bimix and I have been steadily having to increase my dosage. I started out with 10 units and am up to 30 units. Using a constriction band from my pump kit (along with a foam sleeve) helps quite a lot. I am wondering if , on my next refill, if I went to Trimix, would I still have to use the constriction band to get good results? Also , w/ Trimix is there a good chance that my dosage would be less? My PC was over 2 years ago and my pelvic floor muscles are pretty strong now, so I dont thing I would have any pain ( or very little) from using Trimix.

My Trimix dose has always been quite small..... 3 to 4 units ..... my formula is: 30MG Papaverine, 1 MG Phentolamine, 20 MCG Postaglandin E1.
( I think that is a bit stronger that the usual)
Its been the same for nearly 3 years, and only 3 'failures' (early on mistakes injecting)

I never needed or wanted a constriction band. I began using it after all the pills became unreliable. I still have my prostate. Only pain I have is the initial poke.... and just a bit as I inject, neither last and reaction is rapid.

It can't hurt to suggest this formula to your urologist.

Yeah, that might be a little stronger -- the "usual" formula recommended by the compounding pharmacy in my area is for only 10 mcg Prostaglandin together with the same dosages of Papaverine and Phentolamine that you use, Bill.
