Still continuing

I posted recently to ask if any one had the experience of pain using the device even after 3 months and whether it went away eventually. Since no one answered I will be pushy enough to ask it again.

I had my implant at Vanderbilt 25 months ago. Like Mike my soreness was gone before 3 months.

I have had contact with a couple of men that had pain/soreness up to about 6 months. The worst case was in the south east, but after six months he was fine. These men used genearl practice urologist for there implant and not a Male Sexual Function Specialist.

It will get better. The best medicine for the discomfort is more sex. Sex is like physical thearpy for your penis. If the soreness is bad take some ibuprofen 1 hour before. Do not take prescription pain meds, they kill feelings in the glans.

Hope this helps.

I still get some pain after 5 months due to the glans being floppy, though the rest of the penis is very hard. Getting better though.

Which implant do you have?

If you have the AMS 700 LGX it will continue to expand into the glans for up to 18 months. Soreness should be almost gone by now.
