I finally went for my annual physical. Everything checks out OK. I got my GP to give me a referral to a urologist and am scheduled for next week. I have not had a meaningful (insertion worthy) erection in 18 months.
I am going in with the intention of injection therapy. Pills have stopped working.
How much loss of length should I expect? In my prime I was in the 6-7 inch range. As my ability to get an erection declined, I was down to about 5 inches.
My wife and I will be celebrating our 29th soon. I hope the injections will work prior to then...

Re: What can be expected?
Mike,
If your URO agrees to the Injections ... most will give you a test shot in the office. If you get a positive reaction, then he will write you a script and direct you to a compound Pharmacy to get your supplies. You should not see any length loss from Injections ... you will have loss from inactivity (tissue atrophy).
You should also consider VED (vacuum pump) to maintain good penis health. Especially if you no longer have nocturnal (night time) erections. Most Insurance plans will cover a medical grade VED ... otherwise Amazon.com has a wide selection.

Hi Mike
Welcome on here. I`m a newbie as well, so won`t try to answer your question directly, but would say that it`s worth having a good dig around the forum using search. The general impression I`ve made so far is that there is no absolute answer to any question like yours about length because it all depends on the cause of the ED and the drug (or combination of drugs) that you use. There are occasional comments about slight loss of length, but a fair few about gains in girth!! Since some of the drugs prescribed are also used in some the chemical based penis size enhancement programmes it doesn`t seem to me to be a major worry. In fact, I think most folk would willingly give up a bit of length just to get consistently usable erections!!! Apart, that is, from one or two like me who aren`t satisfied with that but are seeking to get the sort of erection we had at 20 - if not better!!!
Cheers

Re: What can be expected?
I have suffered with increasing ED (diabetic) for 20 years. I started injecting two years ago once Viagra (100 mg) was no longer effective. I believe I am still the same length, or perhaps a little longer (I also do penis enhancement exercises), than I was 20 years ago. However, I have increased my girth by over 1/2 inch, primarily due to a lot of pumping.

I started injecting about 15 years ago I haven't lost any length. The hard part is getting the medication right, you have to play with a little and make sure it stays in the Referg or you can also freeze it, it will last longer that way. It is almost painless so don't worry about that.
