I Got Questions About Vitaros, the New Med

theres a new ED drug coming out in canada in november called Vitaros. ur supposed to dip a few drops on ur penis to give an erection. i got a few questions:

1) this med needs to stay refrigerated. i dont live in canada, i live in boston. since i live close to canada, can canadian pharmacies carrying it mail it to me refrigerated to the US in boston?

2) does anyone know how effective this med is? is it currently sold anywhere else?

It's not sold anywhere. They have delayed the launch in Canada as it was supposed to be released over the summer. There have been a few studies and it seems to be effective but if you read some of them closely perhaps not. There seems to be a few major studies on the drug presently or planned in the future. I think the issue is how will does it get to the erectile tissue, since you put it in the urethra? The medicine includes a chemical that allows medicine (in this case the alprostadil) to penetrate through tissue but will that cause irritation and side effects? Anyway, for those of us that need medication and can't take oral drugs, and aren't happy with injections let's hope this is a viable alternative.
