The cost figures I posted are from ,,my medicare,, it shows the amount billed and the amount paid. There was a charge for the Anastasia and also a preop physical.
No hospital bill. It was outpatient surgery so maybe it was included in the doctor bill.
When a doctor accepts medicare assignment he agrees to accept whatever medicare pays for a procedure. ,,if I understand it correctly,,, medicare sets an amount for each procedure and then pays 80% of that amount. I will update if I get more charges than I stated.
