Postby DAVID 1 » Thu Jul 10, 2014 9:28 am

From my limited experience, there is no "best." Like any other drug, what's best for one man might not be for another.

My uro told me that Cialis can help heal the zillions of blood vessels that were destroyed during surgery, so he prescribed it to me on a daily low-dose, and to take more if I wanted an erection (which didn't work). Also, after a couple months of taking the daily low dose I got terrible acid reflux; I stopped taking it and the reflux went away. Everyone is different.

Also, Cialis is known as "the weekend pill;" its effects stay in your system, unlike Viagra, which works more or less immediately and then is done.

That's the extent of my knowledge on the subject, but I'm sure plenty of other guys will chime in.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

At one time or the other tried them all, including a few "natural" types found on line. In my case, none produced a erection. All had some side effect, none serious. Finally use injections with 99% of the time success.

age 80. Prostate removed (cancer) 20 years ago. ED resulted. 19+ years did nothing. Tried pills, vacuum pump (HATED IT), injections worked sometimes, but not dependable. Presently have a inflatable, worked the 1st year. Not working for me now.

Another comment: None of these drugs do much good for erections after PC, especially if you had one nerve bundle removed like me. If they left both intact you have a better chance, but (as I understand it) there will still be some nerve damage -- which probably will heal to some unknown degree within 1-2 years post-surgery.
