BiMix

Postby Kolin6 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 4:59 pm

I am new to the board, started today.
I read about the expiration of TriMix, but does BiMix expire?
I have some, about nine months or so old, do you think I could still use it.?
Thank you

I'm not the expert here, but I can tell you that my trimix is working fine after the so called expiration date. My dosage is so low that I couldn't possibly use it up in 60 days. When I told that to the compounding pharmacist, his comment was "Great!" So I don't think the happy juice actually goes bad, I think the "expiration date" is a point beyond which they don't guarantee its potency. Other guys with more knowledge and experience might do well to chip in. I don't know of any harm that could result is shooting up "expired" mix. Other than disappointment. Anyone have any hard data? Pun intended.

Greg, I thought you were using us a bottle a wk of that love medicine. :P

I am told that if the liquid is clear it is fine.

Of course, the singular advantage of having a small pecker is that it only takes a little bit of trimix to make it come alive. All I know is that my November vial still works. As of last night that is. hardeharharhar

I have some trimix from last April - when I went to the doc a month or so ago he said just use a bit more if you notice it's lost some of its potency. Pharmacist said the same thing. not sure about bimix but I would think the same would apply - doesn't really go bad just loses strength.
