8 days post surgery

I had the implant done 8 days ago. I'm hoping my uro will tell me what they installed in me when I see him for a followup in a few days. Until that time, I must plead ignorance. My surgery went well. It started at 7:30 AM and I was home by 11AM. About 4PM the pain became unbearable so I went back to the ER. There, they started a Dilaudid IV and kept me overnight for pain management.

The next morning, the uro came in, took the mummy bandages off, removed the drain, and (FINALLY)) removed the catheter. He sent me home with Dilaudid pills. I took 2 that day and haven't had a pain pill since.

All-in-all, the surgery and immediate aftermath went well. I was expecting to be in severe pain for several days. Most of the bruising is gone and the swelling has gone down quite a bit. I lost 2.5mm (1/10") in length, but from what I can see, I gained significantly in girth department.
