Day 6 and went for my first check up with the surgeon. And it rocked!!!
Being his last appointment of the day, the poor guy looked seriously haggard and beat down. I'm glad that over the past 18 months we've developed a relationship that I can make him laugh, put down his professional guard a bit and he eases up on proper medical terminology. I actually respect a doc who can say with ease "c*ck and ball sack". LOL
He was VERY pleased with the recovery. I have zero bruising, the swelling is nearly gone and the incision is healing at a good pace. He did acknowledge my one concern that the pump is sitting VERY low and a bit further back than he had intended.
He did say that if I can get used to the location, I'll appreciate not having the pump banging in between my balls. But IF I can't stand the feeling and the pain doesn't fade away, he'll do a minor revision and shorten the tubbing a bit and raise the pump up. Has anyone else had this issue and what was the eventual outcome for you?
He did sort of scold me for being too active the past few days. Fair enough... I just can't believe the complete difference from the first implant that I want to get out, do stuff and press through the minimal pain.
He did gave me a hell of a scare, when he said he couldn't condone activation for my honeymoon in mid October. It took me a moment to realize he was so frazzled, he had cut off a full month of healing time and was thinking September.
I'll see him again the first week of October for activation, he did warn it would be rather sore for a bit after that, but I am SO getting laid for my wedding!!!
I ended the appointment by giving him a bottle of champagne. He still looked like he needed a drink and I just couldn't praise him enough for all of his dedicated time and work.

Diabetic: used pills & injections.
2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.
