Hi guys!
Met with my doctor on Monday the 25th for my first deflation and then re-inflation. Monday was exactly 4 weeks post surgery. I want to start by saying at this point I feel NO discomfort and everything feels surprisingly comfortable, almost like I had nothing done!
The doctor gave me instructions as he demonstrated using the pump to inflate. He went with 5 pumps and I was AMAZED at how firm the erection was with only 5…couldn’t even bend it very much and it would be very usable! I experienced very little discomfort, only a slight burning tingling sensation primarily under the glans. After a brief time the doctor demonstrated how to deflate using the OTR. It does take a little work at this stage to get fully deflated, but it actually feels a bit more natural with just a bit of inflation left in the cylinders. I was advised to inflate and deflate daily, starting with 5 pumps and adding a pump every couple of days. He informed me that when I return on Sept 8th he will do a full inflation. I can’t wait to see what it’s like fully inflated if it’s this hard now!
Tuesday was the big day for me. I took a comfortable seated position and got started. It took just a bit to figure out what’s the best technique. In my case I used the two thumb method while supporting the pump with my fingers. First pump took a surprising amount of effort, the subsequent 4 pumps went a little easier. No problem, and like in the doctor’s office it was very firm. I left it for 10 minutes and then deflated with no problems and minimal discomfort. Wednesday was the same routine with the same results.
Thursday I added a pump, so now I’m up to six. Good gosh I can’t imagine what 12-15 may feel like! Very little discomfort, much like the first time with a slight burning sensation under the glans. I’m very happy with my progress and with the device!!! I am hopeful at this point that some of the feeling I lost in my glans returns, but we shall see. I will be very pleased with the results even if the feeling does not return!
OK…that’s it for now. I’ll be back with another update next week! Thanks Guys!

Re: update on inflation
Glad to hear it's going well! Another 5 weeks for me to wait before I can start inflating... it's going to be a VERY long 5 weeks.

Diabetic: used pills & injections.
2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.
