Crowd funding to help get an implant started

We kicked this around last year when I had gotten the nerve up finally to do this but never got it set up because I did not understand the process. With help tonight I think we have it set up. I think if $5000 can be raised it can happen Insurance should cover the rest if I can find a network doctor. $5,000 would only be $50 each for 100 people. If I could raise $7500, I would for sure try to go to one of the main guys on either coast or Nashville. hell I don't care if it happens on the moon if I can make it happen. Maybe we need something like crowd funding where everyone chips in a few bucks a month or every year and that pool is used to help others in the same boat as me. I've heard of others that had to pay for their own, mortgage their homes, even one guy whose rich brother gave him the money to make it happen. I know I can't be the only one in this boat and I am sure there are others that have a decade of more to go before they are eligible for medicare which doesn't seem to mind paying for these things.
