Question on ice packs
Question on ice packs
How long did you guys use ice after your surgery? I am wondering how much good it does after the second or third day. That is one area that my URO didn't mention. Unless he told my wife and she forgot.

Re: Question on ice packs
stkman here,
shopman, I looked at your previous post and saw that you (like myself) didn't have much swelling. I used ice for two days and stopped. Heat is my ally. Everyone is different and has their own healing curve. Do what feels right. You body will let you know whether to continue or stop. Contact the URO if you still have concerns.

Re: Question on ice packs
Charlie I used the ice packs for two weeks because it felt good. I used a flat bendable pack that I wrapped in a soft cloth and shaped it in a u shap that sat under my balls which supported them and kept them from touching my thighs which allowed me to sleep better, I did not wear anything else, the freedom and the ice pack support worked a treat for me. I think we all find our own bit of comfort you just need to experiment.
