Implanted Titan OTR 12/18/14
It's been inspiring to read many of the posts here. I'm closing in on week 4 of recovery. I'm close to Phladelphia and my surgery was performed by a high volume surgeon, Dr Bruce Garber. I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on the Titan OTR. At this point I'm still a bit sore, but it's very manageable. D Day is Feb 3rd, wondering also if sex in the beginning is a bit painful and sore. Never thought I would do it, but here I am now a member of club bionic!!!

Hey Membrillo. Not really sure at this point. He left me partially inflated for about the first three weeks after the surgery. If I guesstimate, I don't *believe* I will have lost any significant length. I was about 6 1/2 - 7" prior to the procedure. And I led an active sex life despite the ED. I went through the typical progression of remedies - from Viagra to injecting Tri Mix. I ultimately decided to go bionic when I started to develop slight Peyronies from the repeated injections (it appears the implant has corrected this). I don't believe I suffered from any atrophy, which I've read is one of the causes of loss of length - along with the typical culprit prostate surgery.
After 3 weeks, I was much less sore. I was curious about things and had ridiculous blue balls. I seldom go even a few days without an orgasm let alone three weeks. I was pleased to see that ejaculation was normal and my glans seemed to fill out as well. I was very worried about 'floppy head' but provided I am sexually turned on I don't believe this will be an issue as I continue to heal. I'm curious about others' results though with the Titan OTR. Dr Garber apparently swears by it. Has anyone else experienced loss of significant length? I admit I am worried that when I actually do go to fully pump I will have some loss. But I really hope not. Dr Garber through my research was supposed to be one of the best at conserving length.
My surgery was infra pubic and not through the scrotal sack. I had minimal swelling which really subsided after the first week. Honestly, the worst part of the entire procedure was having to be catheterized, and then being sent home with it and a wound drain. It was extremely uncomfortable. I was absolutely miserable, and very thankful to be rid of it the next day. Each day is progressively better, I still need ice once in a great while, but usually only after I have a prolonged bit of walking around. After about 30 min or so of walking I still get moderately sore. I'm hopeful this passes soon.
I was very, very tempted to have sex despite the Dr saying another 3 weeks. But my fiancee and I decided to not chance anything - we've been waiting since November - what is another 3 weeks?

When it's inflated (or in this case partially inflated) the head is smaller and softer - 'floppy'. When I am aroused - it appears I still have good blood flow to the glans, so I'm very relieved.

MrMoJoeRisin,
Congrats & welcome to the club! I live outside Atlanta & traveled all the way to Philadelphia to have Dr Garber do my implant operation this past March. I agree with you that the worst part of my whole experience was having to walk around with that catheter & wound drain after the operation. I had a Titan Touch installed & it's been working great! My implant extends up into the glans so no problem with floppy head. I suggest you just take it easy. Follow Dr Garber's instructions.
I didn't have intercourse until at least 10 weeks after the operation. I'm single & wasn't dating at the time & just didn't have the opportunity. It takes time to heal. Be patient. Best of luck to you.

Hey Roger!
Thanks for the response. After you fully healed, were you able to conserve most of your length? During my follow up, Dr Garber - 'deflated' me a bit so I was more comfortable. But I've read here in places that the penis doesn't lengthen much from it's flaccid state. I'm hoping that I at least get an inch or two more in length when pumped up. Having a 4" unit would be quite an adjustment, and naturally I have concerns.
