Greetings! I am 62 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February of 2014. I opted for brachytherapy in April of 2014. Prior to PCa, I had been battling ED and low-T for a number of years. I am in good health, not too over weight, and great blood lab results. Following brachytherapy my erections have become fewer, softer, and further between. I am not on ADT per se, but my Uro has suspended my TRT so I have the full blown low-T symptoms which tie into my ED problem. My Uro did not mention penis therapy, and I am concerned about loosing what I had. My Uro has been pushing implants that I am still not sure of because I see that as treating a symptom and not the possible problem (low-T).

Welcome. Before deciding on an implant you should try other options (insurance will require this anyway). If your T is low it couldn't hurt to try some therapy to get the level up. However, it is entirely possible that improving your T level will not improve your situation. I can attest to this from personal experience.

I live in the Dallas area and had radiation and seeding in 2012, along with 8 months of hormones.
After the seeding (which was done after the radiation) I noticed it was more and more difficult to get an erection.
I used to play with it and get it going and also used Viagra and Levitra. After a while I was able to have morning wood again
and get up with foreplay, but I still can't keep it up very long. Now I am using a 1/4 of Stendra (faster acting than the others
and I have less side effects with it) so that once I am up I stay up long enough for PIV.
Get Dr. John Mulhall's book Saving Your Sex Life. He talks a lot about the need for getting erections
after prostate cancern treatment.

Welcome to Frank Talk Bruce, Ft Worth here. I am getting a IPP this July, if you are looking for a Urologist or a 2nd opinion I use Dr Morey in Dallas.
